Apogee debuts on the PC market

Many PC users dreamed of installing Apogee products on their computers. That dream is now a reality…

Apogee partnered with Avid to introduce the first two audio interfaces for Mac and PC, the Pro Tools | Duet and Pro Tools | Quartet.

Both Pro Tools | Duet and Pro Tools | Quartet are USB audio interfaces, and offer the same features as their siblings (same preamps, I/O, Mac and iOS compatible…). The difference between these new models and the previous versions is a new black finish to match the rest of the Avid line, and the ability to connect them to a PC and use them with any DAW that is ASIO, Core Audio, WDM, MME compatible.

The interfaces ship with Pro Tools 11, an iLok 2 USB dongle to authorize the DAW, a bundle featuring more than 60 instrument and effect AAX plug-ins, Pro Tools IO Control EUCON-enabled and a USB cable.

The Pro Tools | Duet has a price of 999€ / $999 and the Pro Tools | Quartet 1749€ / $1999.

All the details about these Avid/Apogee audio interfaces are available at www.apogeedigital.com and Avid (here for the Duet and there for the Quartet).
