Overall Opinion
I opt for the kit version (HF101 instead of ME45) of this forum that I use for 3 months, the time to do some rglages.
The strengths of this speaker? Not the least impressive purity agressivit in mdium and especially in the high end. The DE160 is amazingly bright on the HF101 (almost no diffrence from the ND1411-m on the same flag. Some use a tweeter in addition to Hi-Fi, I do not really see the usefulness ...)
I had never heard such a quality previously (view shared by friends from the court) from RCF, but the sound of 400X is more "live". I'm not a pro, so I do not know the technical terms for dcrire my impression but I trust my ears (which so far have not deceived me and I know when a sound. And the a ring ...
The price of components is acceptable.
It's a choice I would do is relatively close to one but to use more powerful, I would take the DE250/H100 DPIT because in the quality I feel that is a bit DE160/HF101 too thin compared to 12PLB76.
For me it's more a pregnant Designed for cost can only for the sound system, which does not mean you can not use it in this area. One well 18P1200nd is largely amplified, so I think that would Systm IDAL 4 and 2 GC7 400X S118nd GC7.

J'ai opté pour la version kit (HF101 au lieu du ME45) de cette enceinte que j'utilise depuis 3 mois environ, le temps de faire quelques réglages.
Les points forts de cette enceinte? Pas la moindre agressivité, une pureté impressionnante dans les médium et surtout dans le haut du spectre. Le DE160 est étonnamment brillant sur le HF101 (presque pas de différence par rapport au ND1411-m sur le même pavillon. Certains utilisent un tweeter en plus en Hi-Fi, je n'en vois vraiment pas l'utilité...)
Je n'avais jamais entendu une telle qualité auparavant (avis partagé par les amis venus écouter) à part RCF mais le son des 400X est plus "live". Je ne suis pas un pro, donc je ne connais pas les termes techniques pour décrire mon impression mais je fais confiance à mes oreilles (qui jusqu'ici ne m'ont pas trompé) et je sais quand ça sonne. Et là, ça sonne...
Le prix des composants est acceptable.

Pour moi, c'est une enceinte conçue plus pour une écoute puissante que pour de la sono, ce qui ne veut pas dire qu'on ne puisse l'utiliser dans ce domaine. Un seul 18P1200nd bien amplifié les tient largement, donc je pense qu'un système idéal serait 4 CG7 400X et 2 CG7 S118nd.
