Steinberg announces the release of Cubase Artist Plus Pack, a bundled deal comprising the Cubase Artist 6 music productions system and the CI2+ USB audio interface.
Cubase Artist Plus Pack runs on Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.6 and is available from the Steinberg Online Shop and certified Steinberg dealers in selected countries* for EUR 379**/GBP 320**.
Cubase Artist 6 features effects and VST instruments, such as the new VST Amp Rack plug-in with amp emulations and the HALion Sonic SE workstation with 550 quality sounds. It includes a take-comping system, user interface and Windows/Mac 64-bit support.
Powered entirely via USB, the CI2+ offers a digital audio recording standard with 24-bit resolution and a sampling rate of 48 kHz. Both its two microphone inputs consist of balanced XLR/jack combo connectors and microphone preamps with onboard +48 V phantom power. The dedicated switch on the first input channel is designed to allow for connecting an electric guitar or bass directly with the CI2+.
The AI Knob controls the main functions of Cubase and is designed to facilitate browsing through the Project Assistant for project setup, while its dedicated transport push-buttons control playback and recording.
