Frankly, I bought this amp (version without the tone Vintage and Modern) in 98 to play with an acoustic and a microphone rosette. At the time, I thought it was not bad, except that the volume had to push for a can of her. Please note, this was only valid in the case of an amplified sound! I did it bought in 2000 to buy a 100 W amplifier etjouer group.
In 2005, I was looking for an amp to play trankilou 10/15 W at home, so directos a store to see what was going on ... and I spring with the Peavey ... (And I'm not homesick yet!)
FYI, I tried 2 / 3 other amp in the store:
Marshall 10 W: Very few adjustments and clean that looks very much to be desired! I quickly dropped the case. It is said Marshall, sn rock, yada yada yada ... Ben I say versatility 0!
Vox W 10/15: His very distinctive, quite saturated and too bright (say with too much treble) ... Hop, trash!
And then, the Peavey!
THE vraimment clean is good: Clean (not dirty like the Marshall), well defined. I use it mainly Modern (the sound is going to say fat + / In + vintage crystal). The reverb is nice too.
Overdrive: I use it especially with the setting with the Vintage OD to 6 and it's great for doing stuff style ACDC, Hendrix. For tips + Metal => opt for a true distortion pedal (Personally, I have Berhinger UM 100, and many users ... it denigrates must have paid 5 times more for a quality =. In any case, I find myself much my business)

Franchement, j'ai acheté cet ampli (version sans les tonalité Vintage et Modern) en 98 pour jouer avec une acoustique et un micro de rosace. A l'epoque, je trouvais ca pas mal, sauf qu'il fallait pousser le volume pour avoir un peut de son. Attention, ceci n'était valable que dans le cas d'une acoustique amplifiée ! Je l'ai fait racheté en 2000 pour acheter un ampli 100 W etjouer en groupe.
En 2005, je cherchais un ampli 10/15 W pour jouer trankilou chez moi, donc directos dans un magasin pour voir ce qui se faisait... et je ressort avec le Peavey... (et je suis pas nostalgique pourtant !)
Pour info, j'ai essayé 2/3 autres ampli dans le magasin :
Marshall 10 W : Très peu de réglages et son clean qui laisse carrément à désirer ! J'ai vite laché l'affaire. On dit Marshall, sn rock, patati et patata... Ben moi je dis 0 polyvalence !
Vox 10/15 W : Son très typé, sature pas mal et son trop brillant (disons avec trop d'aigus)... Hop, poubelle !
Et là, le Peavey !
LE clean est vraimment bien : Propre (n'est pas salit comme sur le Marshall), bien défini. Je l'utilise surtout en Modern (le son est on va dire + gras / En vintage + cristallin). La réverb est sympa aussi.
L'Overdrive : Je l'utilise surtout avec le réglage Vintage avec l'OD à 6 et c'est super pour faire des trucs style ACDC, Hendrix. Pour des trucs + Métal => opter pour une vrai pédale de disto (Perso, j'ai la Berhinger UM 100, et bien des utilisateurs la dénigre... il doivent avoir payé 5 fois plus cher pour avoir une qualité =. En tout cas, moi j'y trouve largement mon affaire)

It's going to do a bit of one year + I have and frankly I have no regrets, no nothing at all!
Why buy a bored prestigious amp + (Mars. ..) to look cool but have a sound of tin can behind?
Frankly this amp is the best (in class) I have ever try!
If you want a small amp apart: a real clean sound and you have a nice distortion in +, go for it!
In addition, it is cheap! (You will of € 25 was put in the Berhinger UM 100)
Do not be snobby with Peavey products, the logo may not be terrible, but it's good stuff!

Ca va faire un peu + d'un an que je l'ai et franchement je ne regrette rien, non rien de rien !
Pourquoi s'emmerder a acheter des amplis + prestigieux (Mars...) pour avoir l'air cool mais avoir un son de boite de conserve derrière ?
Franchement cet ampli est le meilleur (dans sa catégorie) qu'il m'ait été donné d'essayer !
Si vous voulez un petit ampli d'appart : un vrai son clean et que vous avez une disto sympa en +, allez y, foncez !
En plus, il est pas cher ! (Vous aurez bien 25 € a mettre dans la Berhinger UM 100)
Soyez pas snob avec les produits Peavey, le logo est peut être pas terrible, mais c'est du BON MATOS !
