UTILIZATION

Using fairly simple. The speed knob has such a range in time that the setting seems intuitive compromise tap tempo required. And at this level, the nova delay wins again because you can adjust the sound in milli seconds or BPM (even if the race knob is a bit steep, too), with the possibility to choose the type of repeats (black, crooked pointing, etc.).

SOUND QUALITY

The problem with this pedal is its opulence, a lot of possibilities with little adjustments, once the accuracy is not his strong (especially the management of repetitions). The sound effects also appeared unclear to me, whatever the mode. Even with the tap tempo, I found the result very rough and not very clear signal: the original sound is distorted.

OVERALL OPINION

After a few uses on stage, I decided to put away because I'm really not happy with the sound, to the point that I think (the goal here, right?) All of its features did not save the setting . I much prefer the models "single unit" boss whose sound is much higher, and certainly enough for what I do. So I prefer the boss DD3 or 5. The DD6 has the same problem as the sound DD20 plus a completely outdated configuration (not discreet tap tempo). But for the same functions, with more banks incidentally, I recommend instead the nova delay, although it is slightly more expensive.
