Truly an outstanding overdrive frednicol's opinion is typical of the sound of this pedal.
The word subtle is exactly the right word, the palette of sounds you can get is great and the sound is always excellent. This is still an overdrive, which means you will not get the big sound of a body double Marshall, but this is not what one asks the Okko Diablo.

Avid user of Fender Amps All tube I have tested on a Blues Junior, a field 12 and a Tweed Deluxe with Telecaster, Stratocaster Grestch and it comes out every time with flying colors, the notes are always well-defined shape with bcp Heat and soft but also the necessary teeth, frankly I have not tested in my life as a guitarist at least a good fifty overdrives (test really) and it is I do not fault him.

Vraiment un excellent overdrive , la palette de sons que l'on peut obtenir est grande et le rendu est toujours excellent.
Le son est riche, plein d'harmoniques même à bas volume , on ne ressent jamais de bouillie sonore , en clair tous les réglages donnent un son exploitable..
C'est bien un overdrive mais que l'on peut qualifier de musclé car on peut obtenir non seulement tous les crunchs possibles et imaginables mais aussi des sons déjà très saturés ( rock et heavy metal ) donc ça peut avoiner sévère si on le souhaite.
