Set on a Dean V black / Gold easel, this microphone is close to the holy grail I wanted.
Plugged into my engl fireball, I feel that the micro transcribes the wood species of the guitar. This is a distortion biting and very hot that spring (it's really this heat I could not find anywhere to DiMarzio, Seymour Duncan, and others, that strikes at the time). On the menu: palms to go go mute, harmonics, chrirurgicale precision ... we feel that my guitar launches reliefs howl so she was restrained with other mics I had associated with it.
This is controlled directly on the site of bare knuckle, control treated mister Tim Mills in person and arrived in 10 days.
I do not regret this purchase (in the amount of 128 euros fdp included!).
I would buy the same micro for my esp viper 301 !!!

I've had it 6 months. I had time to go around the beast for it is the way it should be called. I like to try everything casiment micro and as a mark but the one I was blown away by its accuracy, clarity but also its grain. The sustain is phenomenal harmonic whistle everywhere, it's simple I thought my guitar was now 50 cm thick. Its natural equalization v and its accuracy and fludité make the ultimate weapon for the shred. It will just calm down a little gas on acute enough presents. A micro oriented with its large output level result. Even if it is ridiculous in other areas I do not would judge on this point, it is not really made for.
More expensive yes, but better than anything I've tried. Therefore justified price considering the quality.
I swears by Bare Knuckle henceforth.

Did you try many other models before buying it?
yes yes ... SH5 SH6 Seymour, tone zone, X2N, EMG 81 etc ... All microphones are good, but there is still the key step above.

What is so special that you like most and least?
I mounted on a Gibson Les Paul Studio that I completely customized. Nothing wrong in particular Gibson 498T and 490R. I do not hate them and I always have on my other Gibson. I tried a bareknuckle wanted to see if the "hype" was really justified. Guys forum advised me that microphone (and holy diver) and I had the chance to nab this opportunity. This is the best micro bridge I've ever had. Gib became my machine violent rock and metal. The distortion even with armor gain is always clear, we distinguish each note. Harmonic whistle, vibrate the palms. Incredible. I also love the Bill Lawrence L500XL but less versatile.

How do you rate the quality / price? With experience, you do again this choice?
Yes, it's expensive, but if you have a good scratch with a violin worth that, do not hesitate to make a difference. These pickups are a killer bar point. Now my goal, that is to find a holy diver for my other les paul

J'utilis the micro for 2 weeks, I mount on my Ibanez Sabre Custom (made in Japan) is the handle with SERIES paissandre wizard button and end mahogany body trs, vibrato Floyd Pink (gottoh).

we change the size, this microphone provides clarity cramique a big potato, trs equilibrated with a bite in the medium trs friendly, a dynamic standard, you can play with volume is a real rgal in rsum I win my game especially in expressiveness finally understood. Another advantage, he splits trs well. I have not tried either the masses of microphones before him but the fact that I play 20 years and I never heard such a good guitar sound.

price level I ordered on the site of bare knuckle, I had a rponse in The Day and dlais t respect of deliveries (10 days). For this microphone, I pay 110 euros fdp included, guaranteed life (!), Plus a set of string and a mdiator.

a comparison, Di Marzio is much more expensive and less, as Seymour Duncan (D-Activator in my neck rings, but it is clearly a Tagus below)

So here I am a fan.

The Bare Knuckle Pickups Miracle Man is part of their contemporary humbucker line. It’s an extremely high output pickup meant to replicate famous active pickups such as EMGs. Like all BKPs, this humbucker comes with a plethora of options to choose from. Mine was a bridge position humbucker with a ceramic magnet and four conductor wiring.

The Miracle Man is pretty much modeled after that Zakk Wylde Ozzy Osbourne kinda tone. It has probably the tightest bass out of all of the BKPs that Tim offers. It’s crazy tight. The midrange is scooped a touch to allow for the treble to really shine through. This pickup’s treble is crisp, but it’s never too overbearing to where it gets ridiculously icepicky.

However, just because it’s a super high output pickup doesn’t mean it’s a compressed mess of notes. The Miracle Man is extremely clear and open. When you play chords under high gain, you can hear every little note. Single notes really jump out at you as well. Harmonics on this pickup are crazy as well. It really reminds me of EMGs once you start slamming those pinch harmonics. I never got to try this pickup in split or parallel modes, so I can’t comment on that.

The Miracle Man seems to be best suited for woods like mahogany or other neutral to darker woods due to the treble. If you aren’t careful, there could be a touch too much treble with this pickup. Actually, I think it sounds absolutely phenomenal with basswood bodies.

If you’re looking for a high output pickup with superb harmonics, extremely tight bass and a powerful punch, check out this pickup. Imagine a tighter Painkiller but a little less raw and without the overly powerful midrange, and you’ll come close to what this pickup has to offer.
