I have a telecaster maple neck (with Kinman to handle), and I could not be happier.
Big output level as needed, but curiously he remains clean and clear. Very balanced, with all wiring options (4-wire plus shield), the sound on this split is thin and sharp, a treat with Kinman.
It is much better than my EMG select (hz for that matter) are really Raplapla in comparison, it looks almost dead! (Must be a trick, they are dead so we pass our way. Besides the price or are they a good decision ...)
It responds well to shadow volume pot (500k) is always a plus. The overall sound is clear, clean, smooth but not too much is different than a normal double.
It is conceivable that the large metal stain, no worries though personally I do not force the gain of my amp (about 2 hours without boost).
I can only recommend this microphone as it is versatile and is a delight to play clean and precise. Attention, it is not cold or grain-free, that's where brand big points.
Why put more, and I did whenever I was disappointed (paf pro, multibucker, super distortion, JB4, and I forget a package) and not a little.
I tried to put on a jazz Ibanez Artcore acute position but this is too steep not hot enough for the style. Predictably.
What is in shadow, it is proposed that all but endless variations, so not making cabbage. For more Texan rock they have double pads that work great, even at very low price. Try it I guess.
