Fantastic and easy to use reverb

    - Does not work with a battery
    - Only 42 made
    - Numbered

    UTILIZATION

There's one knob. It's not even labeled, other than "Less" and "More". You turn it up until you get the amount of reverb you'd like. It would be nice to have more control over the effect, but it sounds good. There are plenty of other options out there if you want a vast array of verb sounds.

The M lights up, which is really cool.

Be warned, the pedal only runs off an AC adapter.

    SOUND QUALITY

This does a replication of spring reverb. It does it very well. If you want to do other things, you'll probably be disappointed. My only issue with the pedal were that the knob goes from no reverb to too much reverb (at least for my tastes). It also gets a little nasty and over saturated sounding as you get to around and past noon. I assume that is by design. It really does sound like a spring reverb and it sounds very nice doing it.

    OVERALL OPINION

A few of my amps do not have reverb and I was looking to add a little depth to the sound. I had heard it described as subtle, which was up my alley. Unfortunately, I didn't find it subtle enough for my tastes. I always wanted it to be a little less there, if you know what I mean.

I will be the first to admit, I am not the biggest fan of reverb. That being stated, you can also assume that I am also not a connoisseur of fine reverbs. I mean, if an amp has reverb I use it sparingly if at all. But I do know what they sound like and are supposed to sound like and what good reverb sounds like. This sounds good if not great.

Unfortunately, Morgan made these pedals as a very limited run which sold out a long while ago. The good news is that it appears that Morgan has licensed the designs to Rockett Pedals, so keep and eye out for the reissues.
