I do not hesitate to put a note in "Perfect" because it seems to lie in the same philosophy as the small Porta Pro: they both look a little sexy but its amazing that crosses decades and ways to stay ... a reference!
The Porta Pro has an excellent value for money but the ESP 950 is intended as a listening without compromise.
I have owned excellent headphone like the Stax Lambda Signature and I appreciated the delicacy of the high and the "open" side of the headphone.
But KOSS ESP 950 is a headphones frighteningly more uniformly over the entire bandwidth: not only the serious down very low but is extremely powerful!
The medium is just sounds very acute in place: the sound is clear, neutral!
I never listened to a headphone with as little distortion as many serious and pushing the volume.
He played in the same league as the Stax SRS and 007TII but KOSS is six times cheaper!
Always a brief reference for over 10 years is sold!

Je n'hésite pas à mettre une note à "Parfait" car il me semble se placer dans la même philosophie que le petit Porta Pro : tous les deux ont un look peu sexy mais au son époustouflant qui traverse les décennies et les modes pour rester... une référence !
Le Porta Pro a un excellent rapport qualité prix mais l'ESP 950 se veut une écoute sans compromis.
J'ai possédé d'excellents casque tel le Stax Lambda Signature dont j'ai apprécié la délicatesse de l'aigu et le côté "ouvert" du casque.
Mais le KOSS ESP 950 est un casque redoutablement plus homogène sur toute la bande passante: le grave non seulement descend très bas mais est extrêmement puissant !
Le medium sonne très juste est l'aigu bien en place : le son semble évident, neutre !
Je n'ai jamais écouté un casque avec aussi peu de distorsion et autant de grave en poussant le volume.
Il joue dans la même cour que le Stax SRS et 007TII mais le KOSS est 6 fois moins cher !
