Characteristics
Mine was manufactured in Coréee. I allowed myself to change the pickups origins, not that I had not been happy with the sound (which I found good to very good on the neck pickup), but because I wanted a sound accurate. So I made up a Gibson P94 (neck), and TV Jones Classic (bridge): Oulalala ... that mean? The guitar went from a (big) step up! I, incidentally, changed the mechanics by Super Grover Rotomatic.
La mienne a été fabriquée en Coréee. Je me suis permis de changer les micros d'origines, non pas que je n'eu pas été satisfait du son (que je trouvais bon voire très bien sur le micro manche), mais plutôt parce que j'avais envie d'un son précis. J'ai donc fait monter un Gibson P94 (neck), et un TV Jones Classic (bridge) : Oulalala... que dire ? La guitare est passée d'un (grand) cran au dessus ! J'ai, au passage, changé les mécaniques par des Grover Super Rotomatic.
Utilization
The handle is extremely comfortable, very easy to play especially since I have small hands. The violin is very well made, and as I upgraded the pickups, the sound is just amazing! Otherwise, access to acute happens naturally, I'm changing my Les Paul (by far!)
Le manche est extrêmement agréable, très facile à jouer surtout que j'ai de petites mains. La lutherie est de très bonne facture, et comme j'ai upgradé les micros, le son est juste extraordinaire ! Sinon, l'accès aux aigus se fait naturellement, ça me change de ma LesPaul (et de loin !)
Sounds
Let us turn to the sounds and I mean that to sound as this guitar is versatile! Already before changing the pickups it sounded at home on rock, blues (brushed jazz) and also in metal: yes, yes, believe me. I especially did not like the bridge pickup I found "nasal" and screaming (except when I played the AC'DC, there he was in his element). After changing pickups, EVERYTHING has changed the TV Jones is marvelous, incredibly accurate, it gave me faith in the bridge position pickups. The P94 is itself a delight! Soft, silky it has nothing sound a little mushy from its predecessor. The combination of the two pickups is perfect, once the switch in the middle is obtained between the delicacy of its P94 and the surgical precision of TV Jones. A real treat. I play a Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue and (mostly) on my Yamaha JX65D (a jewel amp).
Venons-en aux sons et je dis bien aux sons car ce que cette guitare est versatile ! Déjà avant de changer les micros elle sonnait à l'aise sur du rock, blues (frôlait le jazz) et aussi en metal : oui, oui croyez-moi. Je n'aimais pas spécialement le micro chevalet que je trouvais "nasal" et criard (sauf quand je jouais du AC'DC, là il était dans son élément). Après avoir changé de micros, TOUT a changé : le TV Jones est une pure merveille, d'une précision incroyable, il m'a redonné foi en la position chevalet des micros. Le P94 est quant à lui un délice ! Doux, soyeux il n'a rien du son un peu baveux de son prédécesseur. La combinaison des deux micros est parfaite ; une fois le switch au milieu on obtient un son entre la délicatesse du P94 et la précision chirurgicale du TV Jones. Un vrai régal. Je la joue sur un Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue et (essentiellement) sur mon Yamaha JX65D (un bijou d'ampli).
Overall Opinion
I play for three years and never complain. I changed the pickups there about a month now, because I had a very clear sound I was looking for without me ruining a ES-335.
Bought at 550 euros new, I would say that the price is excellent value considering the quality of the violin. I remake that choice without hesitation, but I will avoid all the same models manufactured in China.

Je la joue depuis trois ans sans jamais m'en plaindre. J'ai changé les micros il y a de cela un mois maintenant, car j'avais une idée très précise du son que je recherchais sans pour autant me ruiner dans une ES-335.
Acheté à 550 euros neuve, je dirai que le rapport qualité prix est excellent vu la qualité de la lutherie. Je referai ce choix sans hésiter, mais j'éviterai tout de même les modèles fabriqués en Chine.
