Characteristics
My Sheraton II is Korean. The Date 92. Tobacco sunbusrt (the class, and yeah)
I have not had a look on the "new" Made in China, from what I've read it's less now. But thanks to these models the argus is very low, which allows to do business in crazy (thank you China)
Mine I got it a year ago for 400 euros and when I see the finish, I wonder why it's so cheap. The characteristics are always the same (I'll not rewrite the description). But one particular detail caught my attention: the threads of the handle (so in the thumb and the fold of the small finger) back on each fret. I do not know if this machine has a name, but I can not imagine the budget guitar manufacturers pushing the finish so far.

Je n'ai pas jeté un oeil sur les "nouvelles" fabriquées en chine, d'après ce que j'ai pu lire c'est moins bien maintenant. Mais grâce à ces derniers modèles l'argus est très bas, ce qui permet de faire des affaires de dingues (merci les chinois)

Utilization
Everything is super cool. The guitar weighs a cow but we feel at once the instrument. And I've always heard that gibson was heavy, so I just like being in on it with the Epiphone (yes, that's good, I can dream a little). It's heavy but it gives sustain and, I imagine, fat sound.
Tout est super cool. La guitare pèse une vache mais on sent l'instrument du coup. Et puis j'ai toujours entendu dire que les gibson était lourde, donc j'ai un peu l'impression d'être dans le coup avec cette Epiphone (oui, c'est bon, je peux rêver un peu). C'est lourd mais ça donne du sustain et, j'imagine, du gras au son.
Sounds
Attention to her, it's great. I bought it for the look and actually it's great. It gets a little overdrive pedal (HBE power screamer) and yay. THE sound of hot blues to heavy rock. I play AC / DC, I redo the solos of Slash, and I put the bluesy mood when I want. In clean, it's nice too. With the control amp I was surprised to have a good jazz sound (medium low). This is not an es 175 but it helps out.
Note that I do not know what pickups are mounted thereon. The guy who sold it me was the brother of the owner and knew nothing. I think the pickups are classic 57, because I have a sacred sound and that it resembles in clean.
However if that's the original pickups, I dread to think with others! Promise I'll watch.

Attention au son, c'est génial. Je l'avais acheté pour le look et en fait c'est super bien. On se met une petite pédale overdrive (HBE power screamer) et youpi. LE son bien chaud du blues au gros rock. Je joue du AC/DC, je refais les solos de Slash, et je mets l'ambiance bluesy quand je veux. En clean, c'est chouette aussi. Avec le réglage ampli j'ai été surpris d'avoir un son bien jazz (medium bas). C'est pas une es 175 mais ça dépanne.
Je précise que je ne sais pas quels micros sont montés dessus. Le type qui me l'a vendue était le frère du propriétaire et n'y connaissais rien. Je pense que les micros sont des classic 57, parce que j'ai un sacré son et que ça y ressemble en clean.

One year I use it but I let go not. Except for a real big gibson.
She hooked me (I thought it was a scam but the marketing guy at the other U2 and Oasis to play over there and I'm beginning to wonder if it's not for real as the sound is good) !
Quality / price ratio: nothing to say. I think I could make twice without asking any questions (400 euros secondhand).
I remake that choice 15 times, and all the guys looking for a cheap guitar should do it too, it's an order. Everything is there, the look, sound, etc.. Need look no further. Thank you for your attention.

Un an que je l'utilise mais je la lâcherai pas. Sauf pour une vraie grosse gibson.
