«  Amazing clarity and roundness »

Published on 01/02/14 at 14:54
This guitar was made in Korea in 2005, everything is original and gilded fittings goes very well with black lacquer beautiful.
The finish is EXEMPLARY, and I said that it seems to be the case of Korean who have nothing, but then nothing to do with the Chinese!
This point seems recognized by Parisian dealers who remain discreet though as Gibson France does not communicate on the origin of consignments and deliveries.
The inlays (or plastic I do not know) are the most beautiful effect.
I removed the brown pickgard which makes it even more class.

UTILIZATION

The handle is not very big and very nice (unless my Strat though).
Once the psychological barrier of playing on a great guitar is passed, this Sheraton is very nice, not too heavy.
I may be lucky, but the original pickups seem quality, sustain is terrible.
Whether it sounds clear as its saturated everything is good.
This guitar can get the power of an LP, but also provides roundness and precision.

SOUNDS

I have a general preference for bass pickups, but I must admit that the bridge pickup is accurate and not too aggressive.
I love the blues and rock, and the Sheraton too.
I use an amp 5W lamps and a Peavey 12 inch Celestion Vintage bafle G12H.

OVERALL OPINION

I have this guitar for 2 months now, and it augments my Strato John Mayer.
Before this, I owned a standard U.S. Strat 2010, a 52 RI Telecaster 2005 Epiphone LP Tribute and 60.
I certify that this is part of the Sheraton benchmarks guitar and as I did not keep the TV for too twang nor Tribute 60 because it sounded bad, as I keep it a long time.
I am ashamed to say it, but I even have a little trouble on my replay JM Signature, and when you know that I bought € 400 4 times cheaper ...
In short, go for it.
PS: Since I'm talking about my Sheraton, I only meet fans half boxes, and former owners (Sheraton or 335) that have sold still wondering why ...
