IF you love vintage, but with a little something more, is happiness. I'd mount a MusicMan Silhouette Special Paf place of origin PRo. Selling guitar, I remont it as the origin. Why I sell the Virtual Paf remaining orphan (see announcement). But that's the only reason. My other guitars are Luke EMG.
Virtual Paf supply me a lot of satisfaction, making a beautiful silhouette competitor to Lespaul of my youth. It's warm, crystal-clear, well balanced with lots of personality and smooth sustain. Well designed specially for scratch alder that we want to give a warmer side, reminding a bit Honduras mahogany Gibson Lespaul but I think better ... If I had to go back to the guitar passive pickups for blues / rock, it is still to this microphone that I would turn ... QED
