I was looking for a sound card to go with my Delta 44 because I falllait port MIDI and a wavetable.
The seller advised me to take a good audio quality but will only have one card and multimedia for the rest.

Le vendeur m'a conseillé de prendre une carte audio de bonne qualité mais qui ne fera que ça et une carte multimédia pour le reste.

Getting Started
The drivers do not move absolutely not. I installed it and I forget.
I know because I use the latency for audio Delta 44.
Also I am trsdu the sound quality of this card. Apart from a bit less noise than my old AWE32, nothing better.
The wave table is not great and DLS qur to find the net is not won.

Les drivers ne bougent absolument pas. Je l'ai installée et je l'ai oubliée.
Je connais pas la latence car j'utilise la Delta 44 pour l'audio.
De plus je suis très déçu par la qualité sonore de cette carte. Mis à part un peu moins de bruit que ma vielle AWE32, rien de mieux.
La table d'onde est pas terrible et pour trouver de DLS qur le net, c'est pas gagné.

Overall Opinion
In fact it is a good card for the multimedia without compatibility problems even in games.
on the other hand, if you want to have a sound quality it is better to go his way.
I have this card for 6 years now and I keep it because it works well and is enough for now.
Now, I would take a good expander plutt an external MIDI card with more ports.
One, made a fair bit faster, finally, especially To solve the problem of connectivity.

En fait c'est une bonne carte pour le multimédia, sans problèmes de compatibilité, même dans les jeux.
Par contre, si on veut avoir un son de qualité, il vaut mieux passer son chemin.
J'ai cette carte depuis 6 ans maintenant et je la garde car elle fonctionne bien et me suffit pour l'instant.
Maintenant, je prendrais plutôt un bon expandeur externe et une carte midi avec plus de ports.
Un seul, ça fait vite un peu juste, enfin, surtout pour résoudre des problèmes de connectique.
