Kurzweil has been pretty quiet this year at Musikmesse, however there was a brand new Artis stage keyboard at his booth to discover...
Along with a german grand concert piano sound, the Kurzweil Artis stage keyboard features some of the sounds of the flagship K-Series (including the PC3K sounds) and the new 64 Kore ROM. You’ll find synths, strings, horns, the KB3 organ programs, drums, percussions and an effect section.
The Artis features 88 weighted keys as well as pitch and modulation wheels.
Here is a presentation video of the pre-production (or even prototype) version, which price should be around $3000. All the details will be announced soon at www.kurzweilmusicsystems.com.
