The KM150V tube multi-pattern condenser is Studiomaster’s first professional recording microphone.
For its first model Studiomaster has opted for a classic valve design, featuring a one inch pressure gradient gold spattered dual diaphragm coupled to a selected low noise tube.
Switchable polar patterns – between omni, cardioid or bi-directional (figure eight) operation – are designed to provide more versatility than other fixed pattern affordable tube designs; a switchable hi-pass filter and 10dB attenuator are designed to aid this flexibility.
An external power supply is provided for the tube preamp, giving exceptional signal to noise performance. The microphone is supplied with suspension mount, windscreen, power supply, 7pin mic cable, light weight carry case.
