Guild debuts at NAMM 2014 three new guitars from its Newark St. Collection.

The Starfire V with Bigsby is a semi-hollow guitar with a 16 3/8” thinline laminated mahogany body and twin Guild “Anti-Hum” dual-coil pickups, arched top and back with dual F holes, ivory white body binding, black/white purfling and center-block bracing. It further features a 24.75" scale bound 3-piece mahogany/maple/mahogany neck with vintage-style “soft U” profile, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with 9.45” radius and pearloid block inlays.

A three-way pickup selector switch, individual volume and tone controls for each pickup, master volume, Adjusto-Matic bridge with rosewood base, Guild Bigsby B70 vibrato tailpiece, Grover Sta-Tite tuning machines, and nickel hardware round off the lot.

The Guild Starfire V with Bigsby is available in Transparent Cherry Red gloss finish and sports a $1,699 price tag, hardshell case included.

For its part, the CE-100D Capri with Bigsby “old world”-style 16 3/8” cutaway body is also equipped with twin Guild “Anti-Hum” dual-coil pickups. However, it has a maple body with arched top and back with a comfortable 3 1/8” depth and Florentine cutaway, with dual F holes and ivory white body binding and black/white purfling.

In addition, the Capri features  parallel tone bar bracing, a 24.75" scale bound three-piece mahogany/maple/mahogany neck with vintage-style “soft U” profile, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with 9.45” radius and aged pearloid block inlays. And, to complete the lot, we have a three-way pickup selector switch and individual volume and tone controls for each pickup, Adjusto-Matic bridge with rosewood base, Guild Bigsby B60 vibrato tailpiece, Grover Sta-Tite tuning machines, and nickel hardware

It sports an Antique Sunburst gloss finish with gloss Walnut Stain back and sides and will sell for a MSRP of $1649.99, hardshell case included.
