Richwood Guitars RE-125

UTILIZATION

-The handle is nice, with a super gloss finish, but it's a Les Paul => access to acute 0 / 10.
-It is quite heavy for the price, within 5 pounds. Very well balanced.
-With 2 humbuckers and a thick body, the sound is warm and versatile.

SOUNDS

-It is suitable for all styles. The humbucker can show as much at ease in the pantera for the django Reinart, to BB King and Jimi Page.
-I play with a RG100SC Randall, all transistors, and it sounds better than my epiphone G400, which cost me twice ... well.
"I love the microphone treble, warm, and this rather clear. In fact, it's a bit special but it approaches a DiMarzio more than a gibson, but with this heat and more. They are sometimes a little too powerful, and I put a cover to remove a bit of feedback. Good sustain, and many serious.

OVERALL OPINION

-It's been 8 months that I played with, and I'm already gone to a higher rank, but for € 190 it cost me, nothing equals. I bought on a whim, just want to try a les paul qu'Epiphone other, and for a quarter of a standard home, you have at least as well. Nothing to do with the woods Gibson, but the nato is a good wood, it is used for custom shop from home BCRich because it is light and tight, like mahogany. The sonokelin is mid-way between rosewood and ebony. Beautiful texture rather dark, very strong and very hot. The finish is not perfect (there is an oblique line in the grain of the table), but it's better That a J & D. .. If I had to redo this choice is without hesitation. But my small portfolio and my disappointment with the major brands have probably a bit biased my eye.

UTILIZATION
