I use the MPDS since their release - in 2007. I had a MPD34, I sold one a year ago.

In summary - the MPD32 correct and improve all the imperfections of the previous series. One aspect has not been corrected, which is common to all models: the faders are not very reactive, but it quickly takes the hand. No lag with the pads, fortunately :)

I love that it is the control buttons below the faders and two additional faders - eight in all., Which seems somewhat logical when using the machine control surface in Logic or Ableton. In addition, you can use the transport controls in mixed mode - MMC and CTL useful in Logic.

One aspect that I find very useful is the external midi syncro - the only way to use the "Beat Repeat" correctly. Quantize is a bit surreal, but is fine.

There are a lot of evil that has been written about the quality of the pads. MPDS in all they are the same, and it is really important that they stick or install the small contact kit. (Big thick adhesive that sticks between the pads and the contact surface, inside). Without this mod all MPDS are really far from the feel of the MPC 2000.

The only thing that is really painible is the editor Vysex ... an old trick, full of bugs, whose development was stopped for ages ....
