Cableguys has released version 2.0 of VolumeShaper, adding a free-running option for its LFO and a refined user interface.
VolumeShaper is a VST plug-in that lets you automate the volume of a signal in a flexible way, yet precise and easy to use, according to Cableguys.
The plug-in is designed to allow you to easily draw your own waveforms with precision and ease. Using the waveform drawing tool, you can construct your own modulation curves in an intuitive manner.
Small corrections, modifying the volume shape of any input signal, such as isolating, fading or muting a piece from a drumloop, can all be done in a second, the company assures.

VolumeShaper 2 is now available for Windows and, for the first time, Mac OS X as a VST effect plug-in.
It costs €15 / $20. Customers of v1.x get the upgrade for free. The demo version is essentially a freebie as it has no time limitation but is restricted to just one instance and to the built-in presets.
