Korean guitar, good violin neat, round C, very strong in the 60's. Floating tremolo that I locked in a fixed position. 3 single coil pickups, so the noise that goes with it when you are near the amp (except out of phase positions).

A volume, a tone, which act on the whole.

UTILIZATION

The handle is very strong in C, like the old Les Paul, a big stick in hand, but you get done quickly and we finally found it enjoyable.

Access to acute great 24 frets, zero fret. This gives a good sound, but this works with switches and microphones those phase inverters, the tone knob. Please do not be in a hurry with this guitar to make it sound.

The mechanical self-locking Grover of origin are to forget. They break the string at the first bends a little rib. Prefer Schallers locking manual (80 euros) which help make this guitar used.

SOUNDS

The guitar suits my style of music. Very clear sound, or out of phase, one obtains do not hesitate to play with the tone knob for saturated the Brian May sound.

For my part, I use it with an old VOX AC30 (of course ...), a Peavey Classic 30 and also a rack system (with Marshall). The guitar sounds in all cases.

OVERALL OPINION

This guitar is part of my garden for almost a year. I must admit that at first I was a little disappointed, because mechanical self-locking Grover broke the ropes. Schallers with manual blocking, sound and the agreement is perfect.

Also disappointed by the difficulty of obtaining a wide range of sounds. But by spending time, in this guitar resourceful. And this choice I would gladly.

In short, if you buy this guitar, take your time to enjoy it, change the mechanical, play with sounds, you have different saturations, heal the tone knob.

A great guitar that deserves ...

The Brian May Signature guitar has a bound mahogany chambered body, a mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard. 24 frets, 24 inch scale, and the nut is made of graphite. Pickups are 3 Tri-Sonics, and there is a big network of switches - 6 in all, with on and off for each pickup and phase in and out for each pickup. 1 volume, and 1 tone control. There is a trem system.

UTILIZATION

This is a very comfortable guitar to play. The shorter scale makes this really fun to shred on, with stretch passages very easy to master. I absolutely love how the guitar looks - it's just like Brian's original home-built Red Special, only it comes in different colors! The guitar I tried was a friend's that came in the honey sunburst finish, and it looks great. Worksmanship is very nice on this guitar - there are no finish flaws or rough fret ends or anything. The tremolo had a nice even feel to it.

SOUNDS

The pickups sound fabulous! There is a noticeable hum on high-gain sounds, but that is the norm for single coil pickups. The switching system is massively cool, and can help with the noise, as well as getting some really interesting nasal and vocal-sounding tones. Stylistically, this guitar is very versatile, being able to excel at anything, from jazz to heavy metal tones.

OVERALL OPINION

Of course, this guitar is great for rocking out on old Queen tunes. If one wants to get the Digitech Red Special pedal and a Vox Brian May amp, the setup will nail that tone. But it does an absolutely bang up job playing other styles; this Brian May guitar will excel at any type of music! If you see one in a store you MUST check it out.

Everything is said above.
The quality of manufacture is irrprochable. Excellent Grover. The strat-type vibrato (but more flexible and I find).
24 frets, 21 combinations of pickups, so a variety of sounds exceptional!

UTILIZATION

Access in acute Trs good, excellent agreement and even an APRS mchant Tremolo (thank you to Grover).

SOUNDS

Coupled with a digitech effects pedals Brian May, or on a single amp, this guitar sounds and styles in all! The sound can be big, round, aigrel (thanks to the phase inversion of the microphones that reduce serious). We experience the sound for hours!
Being a fan of TRS and the queen of the brilliant Brian May this guitar fills all my expectations!

An excellent quality for a great versatile guitar trs!
Essential for fans of the Brian May.
I love using it with the delay effect from brighton rock digitech pedal.
I have long dreamed of having a copy of the special red, I could not pass this ptite ct wonder.

On features, everything is already said but I would still like to add some precision on manufacturing:
I had to change the strap locks that dévissaient, micro sinking like magic, you have to change the springs and put more rigid. The band 0 has the perennial default indentation on the ground rope, but nothing very very annoying nonetheless.
I also find the mechanics AD not very practical, but one gets do not even wait when the super quality ...
Let no one think that I spit on this guitar, quite the opposite, but frankly, by 3-4% over the price, it could have been much better finished, weak, these penny wise and pound foolish. They are beautiful, ebony tuning is a treat, sound ... I mention below.
I found the vibrato too soft, I added a spring and locked the beast in the back, I too used to play with the hand on the back of the easel. The tune has gained with these manipulations.

UTILIZATION

Very enjoyable to play, finesse, excellent balance. Access to acute without a problem, and 24 frets and more. We get the sound you want ...
The neck ... once in the hands, we no longer want to leave ...

SOUNDS

I love the clean, well clear. In distortion, very good performance, although precise.

I play it with a multieffect Line6 M13 and a Fender Jazz King, a treat as the sound from the practical side.

OVERALL OPINION

Bought in England for 600 € (the book was low at that time), I've had it for several months. I use a Danelectro 59 and an Italia Maranello with P90 is the perfect complement to the more refined sound. The value for money is excellent, but I would have paid 50 € more to finish a little less I largely unpolished.
I advise, and not just Queen fans (I'm not).
