Steinberger Synapse collection - Demon

This 28-5/8" scale guitar features the TranScale system, a sort of built-in capo that can easily transform the instrument into a 25-5" scale guitar -- or even shorter if need be. The guitar's tonal flexibility is also enhanced by the coexistence of two EMG pickups (81 bridge & 85 neck) with a fixed piezo bridge. According to Steinberger, the instrument's intonation is improved by the use of a zero-fret instead of a traditional nut.

This hard maple-bodied guitar also features a CybroSonic patented Graphite U-channel thru neck with adjustable trussrod integrated with 3-piece Hard Maple.

The Demon is already available. No MSRP was officially announced by Steinberger.
