Characteristics
The APHEX Type C generates harmonics on any signal passing through it. Two channels, separate, but a "yes or no" for both. Excellent with lots of sounds: Rhodes, Hammond, Vocals, Drums, Brass. It regenerates harmonics that are not there, or very weak, instead of adding treble! Analog in and out in Jack or RCA
L'APHEX Type C génère des harmoniques sur tout signal le traversant. Deux canaux, distincts, mais un "oui ou non" pour les deux. Excellent sur plein de sons : Rhodes, Hammond, Voix, Drums, Cuivres. Il régénère les harmoniques qui n'y sont pas, ou très faibles, au lieu de rajouter des aigues !! Analogique, in et out en Jack ou Rca
Utilization
use is bone simple. A knob to the "DRIVE": in fact, the "threshold" of the trip. A knob for the "TUNE": search frequencies to regenerate. A knob to the "MIX" Between its direct and APHEX.
L'utilisation est archi-simple. Un potard pour le "DRIVE" : en fait, le "threshold" du déclenchement. Un potard pour le "TUNE" : recherche des fréquences à régénérer. Un potard pour le "MIX" : Entre son direct, et l'APHEX.
Sound Quality
Is the kind of device that you hear when it is removed. One has the impression, by keeping BYPASS, throw a big heavy curtain on the processed sounds!
C'est le genre d'appareil que l'on entend quand on l'enlève. On a l'impression, en le mettant BYPASS, de jeter un gros rideau épais sur les sons traités !!!

I use it since the late 80's, but I just acquire a character. Finally!
