UTILIZATION

Easy to use if you read the user's manual. It's what I did after two years of use and I discovered features I had never used.

You won't get THE right sound after only five minutes, but will be able to start using it very quickly.

I only give a 7 because of two problems:

It isn't compatible with effect pedals except for wah and compressor.
It's not easy to use with looper pedals like the Jamman or the RC-20:

the effect is integrated into the amp and the loop is processed just like the direct signal, so it's not possible to play a distortion sound over a clean sound, and vice versa, without adding an effects pedal.

SOUNDS

The amp does what you'd expect from it, delivering a good solid-state amp sound.

Versatility is its main advantage.
It does everything well, which is perfect for beginners or someone who doesn't like stomp boxes with cables all over the place...

The sound isn't quite that of a setup made up of high-grade effects + all-tube amp, but the result is quite good considering the price.

OVERALL OPINION

I used this amp almost four years. It was my first amp and it rarely disappointed me (except with looper stomp boxes).

Very good value for money (as usual with Line6 products).

I sold it again to a friend of mine. Now, I play a Blues Deluxe (AWESOME!!!).

I wouldn't hesitate to choose it again, even though I would buy the tube version: I tried it out and it's a bit more expensive but really worth it!
