    UTILIZATION

Strangely, it is expected settings very complex when you consider all the capabilities of the beast, well NO!!
Everything is intuitive and well thought through line 6 and it is even easier using the Line 6 Edit software!
For the lazy who do not want to spend hours adjusting their sound (because yes, it is simple but with so many possibilities, there flies hours) on the Line 6 site in the customTones, may have loaded directly into the head sounds settled by other guitarists using a Vetta!
You can adjust and save up to 64 sounds on the head and up to 128 MIDI sounds
Everything is ordered banks of 4 presets banks representing 16 per section.
Another cool thing, you can superimpose two amps at once and set the PAN to stereo.
The effects can be placed exactly where you want in the chaining effect.
Ability to output sound only on your speaker, only the direct outputs (ideal for studio recording in silence where live, directly from the PA and need speaker on stage! Digital magic). This can of course choose to balance the sound AND the speaker (or speakers because you can connect to 4 simultaneously) AND direct output!
Live can control everything via the footswitch Line 6 making a gain considerable space on stage. In passing, mention footswitch + cable for RJ45 because the answer is very fast and in case of trouble, there is this cable into any computer business (attention, take only the right cable, the cross does not work).
Anyway, I recommend you see the manual (downloadable in PDF on the site builder) to see all the possibilities because I ais not say a quarter and I have a hard time organizing my opinion so head Line 6 Vetta is complete and wide!

    SOUNDS

Suitable for ANY style of music. It emulates Marshall, Vox, Orange, Mesa Boogie, Diezel, Engl, Bogner, Soldano, Hiwatt, ... whatever the style of music, your sound is always there!
I did a test with my head Mesa Rectifier head and Line 6 emulation Dual Rectifier on the same settings, same speaker, the result is impressive, I have more grain Mesa on Line 6 on the Mesa same!
It sets all parameters and SURPRISE! Line 6 offers four general settings that affect the sound output as follows: Volume (yes, you say happily, but some amps are not equipped ...), adjusting treble and bass adjustment reverb! All this is very practical depending on where you play, you keep your settings and you just make a small adjustment for THE SOUND PERFECT!
In the studio, live stereo outputs offer many opportunities and speaker simulation and micro help taking very clean with a great sound.

    OVERALL OPINION

I use since January 2013, I have tried a lot of heads, transistor, hybrid, a lamp, simulation ... I have not found better than the Vetta!

    +:
    * The number of connectors
    * All possible sound
    * The ease of use as Live in Studio
    * The ergonomic digital display
    * The tuner precise
    * The settings and updates computer via MIDI
    * An effects loop that can include your favorite pedals to the many already
    * The choice of impedance 4, 8 or 16 Ohms
    * The 4 speakers output mono or stereo
    * Breakdowns preset banks per bank of 4 presets
    * Choice of his favorit
    * SOUND simply
    * No lamp, no maintenance and most importantly, EVEN ITS whatever the room temperature or the number of hours of flight of the beast (which is far from the case of a lamp amp)

    -:
    * No support for the Variax (only Vetta II) but personally I do not need
    * No USB port (but not disturbing when you see all the possibilities)
    * Does not beer distributor ... well one of the only things really missing ^ ^

I highly recommend this amp to everyone! and I said that this head has nothing to envy to the head lamp, not even in terms of "warm sound" (recurring argument among "fans tube amp"). Because, after comparison with my Mesa Rectifier, I decided to sell it to keep the Line 6 Vetta!

To Finish: I do not understand why Line 6 stopped production of the series VETTA or why there is more news updates ...

I play through a Schecter 006 Deluxe modified with an active EMG-81 pickup and a Fernandes Vertigo "x" also with an EMG-81

I play guitar in The Bayonet.

I traded my Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier for this head, at a local Guitar Center

Its upgraded to a Vetta II, so it has every tone imaginable, it sounds amazing, and its effin LOUD...

The Fact that it has two L.E.D. screens that are breakable and stuffing this head in the back of a tour trailer isnt the best thing for it.

It is made to last, plain and simple

If you are just looking for more possibilities in an amp and dont want to have to hook up millions of pedals and such, this is what you are looking for.

I bought the Vetta Head and cab at guitar center during the last green tag sale. The cab was $600, and i got the head for $1000. I bought it because of all teh built in effects and i needed a new amp.

It has more effects than i know waht to do with it. It sounds beutiful and makes you feel a hundred times better at guitar. It has plenty of power, and it looks cooler than any otehr half stack. It makes you want to pick your guitar and never put it down.

There is very little i dont like about it. I dont like the fact the i dont own the floor board to control it with my feet yet, but i will get that soon. One downfall maybe that you have to put of the volume a considerable amount for the effects to come out to their fullest, so it doesnt sound that perfect when you are playing late at night with the volume low, but it still sounds great.

It seems to be made very well. Its heavy, stirdy, solid, and feel unbreakable. The only part that you want to be careful about are the small led screens that tell you the info and setting. It would suck if you cracked one and had a big black spot, but besides that I think its unbreakable.

If you need a new amp, but a line 6 vetta. They are more fun than anything i have ever played on, on you will get a lot better becasue it will make you want to play more and more.

I bought my Vetta Head at Sam Ash on my Sam Ash credit card. Mainly because I was looking for the sound that I wasn't getting through the other amps that I had. I wanted to be able to create whatever sounds I wanted, and I am in a band that plays all styles of music from acoustic to metal to punk to funk. And of course I bought it because (SA) was having their 15 months No Payment No Interest, which is a Rockin' deal! I paid $1599.00 for the head and $399.00 for the foot pedal.

It is THEE greatest piece of equipment ever created in the music world. I love the versatility, being able to use two amps at once is great but whats even greater is having the best amps ever created in the Vetta…

It is THEE greatest piece of equipment ever created in the music world. I love the versatility, being able to use two amps at once is great but whats even greater is having the best amps ever created in the Vetta, to use at my own will! WOW, you talk about a "Make A Person Dream" machine, its the Vetta. You can tell the guitarists in the crowd because of the puddle of drewl in front of them.

The only thing that I dont like about this system, is that it is very tempermental in extreme weather. I really cant complain too much about this tho, cuz every amp does the same thing!

It's made to be taken care of, like a computer. It's not quite a "Peavey" in ruggedness, but the sound of this machine is truly amazing! Its definitely a high tech look, lots of lights...and when you turn the amp on the floorboard looks like Christmas lights, "Pretty!"

This is the "Holy Grail" of all amps, and the Vetta really does go up to "11". Its loud, versatile, in-expensive (compared to buying even 1/10th of the amps in it), upgradable :O), constant tweaking (which for some is bad, but it lets me creat My own sound not someone elses), and last but not least its limitless possibilities makes this amp irresistable!

I can't believe these sell for so cheap now.

This is regarding the Vetta HD -

200 Watts Stereo (very conservatively rated)

Full power into 4, 8, or 16 ohms

    40 lbs. (18kg)

    29"W x 10"H x 9"D (74cm x 25cm x 23cm)

    Wet/Dry Cabinet Support

    Direct XLR outputs

    Programmable stereo effects loop

    Flash upgradable software

    80 or so amp models

    Hundreds of effects

    UTILIZATION

This amp is soooooooo deep, it's not even funny. It can be made to sound like nearly any guitar-type sound one can think of. Long effects chains with 4 different delays, or quirky synthesizery 70s music, or just good ol' hard rock solos - this amp can do it all. This amp is soooooooo deep, it's not even funny. It can be made to sound like nearly any guitar-type sound one can think of. Long effects chains with 4 different delays, or quirky synthesizery 70s music, or just good ol' hard rock solos - this amp can do it all. The manual is very clear at explaining all the functionality of the amp, and while the amp is very easy to figure out (not a terribly steep learning curve), I'd still recommend downloading the manual from Line 6's website if you don't get one with your purchase. If you don't have a Floorboard pedal for the amp, this is a requirement for full enjoyment of the Vetta. There are so many fun things to do with this amp!

    SOUNDS

This excels in both quantity and quality. There are 80 amp models to be used, and all of them are great sounding for the style. Metal tones sound great for metal, jazz for jazz, etc. There's not a stinker in the whole bunch. The effects are out of this world as well! I liked to make long delay chains and create ambient textures ala Robert Fripp.

    OVERALL OPINION

This amp is great, especially for the price they can be acquired for now. It weighs a lot for what it is, and some of them have strange durability issues - a friend of mine had a Vetta that would randomly change volume a bit during use, but mine never did that. Cosmetically, this thing looks very stupid - I did some cosmetic mods so it wouldn't look so cartoony and cheesy. But it still is neat to look over and see all the lights blinking as if one was controlling a spaceship! Overall, this is a good buy, but test thoroughly before purchase to ensure not getting a stinker with volume issues.

    Goodies:
    - The power and quality of simulators,
    - The digital effects, including reverbs monstrous
    - The direct mic outputs (the resumption of distorted sounds on PC via table mix is pretty amazing!)

    Cons:
    - No headphone (hello neighbors)
    - No PC connection as the PODxt,
    - It's almost too powerful ...

    Hence the 9 / 10 well deserved!

    UTILIZATION

Setup is super simple - even me when I arrived ...
The 16 banks of four pre-defined sounds produce sounds very convaincquants just copy it in the bank use and modify at will. Honestly most of the factory sounds are used as Such - except one or two banks enough spaces.
The manual - also available on the line6 site - is very clear and short. In fact I did read that after work on the monster for a few weeks - that's how the ease of use.

    SOUNDS

I play a bit of everything - the hard, rock, pop, funk. And this amp covers my needs well. I have a Prestige Ibanez RS3120 and a Fender Strato US Standard. The Fender sounds a little weak, but it was also the case on my previous Marshall Valvestate 100 (it should be upgraded with the humbucker). The Ibanez sounds super pro, however - and this is not the only guitar I think.
The distorted sounds of trash can cover the most powerful in the most crunch blues - ca depend mostly on the guitar.
The clean sounds are pretty awesome too: the amp simulator works great.

In short it is absolutely the top.

    OVERALL OPINION

I use the beast for 3 months. I hesitated with the Vetto Combo (100W), much cheaper but has the same mechanics. The HD with much more power - for those who have tried the combo it must be heard to be believed - I opted for the latter. I play with a Line 6 Cab 4 * 12 (412S-T 300W) that I produced an incredible bass response.
I tried the multi rocktron effect, but I found it too synthetic. In addition I would have had to pay me a stereo power amp as well, which would cost the same. I chose the Vetta HD and I do not really regret it. The price is high, I still paid the € 3400 for the HD, the cab and pedal but the investment is well worth it (the wallet).

    SOUNDS

You're bound to find an amp that you flat, there are 74 (with the update free software).
Then there are the classics (Vox, Marshall, Fender, Mesa), then curiosity INTERESTED (Supro, Gibson).
The simulation of the Peavey 5150 is superb.
I had a lot of amps (tube, transistor, DSP)
The rating is a little low, because during the time I got o I also had a PODxt.
Connected to a table, is not (it may be not for either!), The PODxt is prcis. 2x12 or a 4x12, the power is illusion, but found it a little dirty ct (cracracra) that is not the best taste.
For Mesa drowns in saturation, but with a Roland JC-120 has more dsordre dj. What I mean is that at times there is no doubt you're facing a BCAN computer, and the level of the sound feels.

    OVERALL OPINION

I used the Vetta HD for a month, I had bought OCCAZ, and I found myself spare, whew!
The note can stepfather trs hard, but there again it is only a trial, but the facts are, a year that I was bavais deu, and I sold after one month!
This tight deadlines with this amp you do what you want is duly.
    - What is the particular feature you like best: the infinite possibilities, the least: we are in the area of numrique, so premium product that quickly (even with software updates) I pity those who dbours 3000, the day of the resale ale! (I had to pay OCCAZ 1100).
Although recess I will not go the same exprience.

    UTILIZATION

Not easy at first but believe me at first after you come back right in and we quickly realized that there a lot of possibilities but each amp and effects really trs Ralite away from the effects are fairly average but adequate. DSOL for the note but I can not put more and this is the price really.

    SOUNDS

In this beginners there are not too bad but after hours of play in the store I miss the "real amps" lamps that have a warmth that does not have this amp, I tried everything and sounds like the front REPRESENTATIVES prtend line6 and above the seller of the store, we feel they want to sell their (m * r * e) amps like Soldano, Mesa Boogie, Bogner, Engl, Marshall, Hiwatt. ... some sounds together and always come from the cold and lack of personality in this product we are really far trs trs amps above named and the true heat lamps, I started getting tired and I return to the Engl, Mesa Boogie, Brunetti amps koi finally ;-)). I wish I prciser compare the sound with Soldano, Engl, Mesa Boogie with the same guitar, and must use only the line6 speakers because they are teams of specially HP Celestion Designed to recreate the modlisation.

    OVERALL OPINION

Trs really glad I could finally jou on this amp because APRS have heard all the good the bad as there's nothing like a good test rel for a person seeking to have a bunch of amps and tons of effects, making styles and trs Varis prcis not it really a good quality price, against those who really want the sound, this amp is banish, for it Only copies of the blades rel amp, any good guitar player who respects himself can not have one but a real speudo amp that sounds and sound quality that rstitue line6 still struggling do arrtons to the musicians for idiots, to conclude I would say that this "amp" is a big joke of the McDonald's ............

The Vetta HD first generation (like the second) is a modeling amp head, all connections listed in its opinion below.

    UTILIZATION

The setup is simple if you have two things:

    - The user manual provides a great deal of precision.
    - Do not be illiterate.

This gives her a good looking what to say and really fun for any guitarist with time. Which may put off more than a slacker.

For me the main quality is the precision of the effects, just get his own sound (which I think and most importantly, have its own identity) of course the only problem is that it takes time we do is not in a week like a traditional tube amp you really have the time, but the results have only more enjoyable.

    OVERALL OPINION

I use this head for me in August 2011 on a daily basis.
I have not tried other models but I am extremely informed, and what I finally decided it had seen a live band called "The Geeks & The Alcoholic Genius" one of the guitarist had an all-tube gear and the second one between the two vetta and we hear no difference, really j'étaie wounded.
After a notice is really personal and it could varied according to each and especially with the eternal debate against unnecessary lamp modeling.
But this amp I would recommend it really, I would do this choice without a doubt, this amp really amazing.

Modlisation transistor amp, 200W output stereo false and true stereo, 16, 8 or 4 ohms.
line output, MIDI pedal, controlled by the computer by noon.
    SETTINGS ........ too!
    ....... effects too! lol

    UTILIZATION

The config is difficult for the Mongols, easy for others. it suffices to have enough passion to find his character and avoid ending up with the sound of tearing powerball in everyman.
THE sound is obtained after many hours of exploration, between the choice of the amp, the cab, stereo or not, type of EQ, compressor type and level of output, full power or not ..... impossible to get bored because there is always sound good.

Of course, you can also create sounds shit on the floor, has no problem.

just a pity that the regulation of stereo and ohmage not be more explicit in the manual, but looking a little c ok

used at very low volume ok in an apartment without a problem, because the AC LED heats up faster than lamps LOL

can happen at once to the headphone jack, whatever she would not even qd t too.

    SOUNDS

I play on Mesa Boogie cabinets without speaker simulation (that would be a shame to add the cab with mesa), in stereo, with simulation of ENGL Powerball and PEAVAY 5150, gate and compressor, graphic EQ (deactivation).
That makes three in total channel EQ, the most effective emergency being the last set according to the room or you are, AC can have its always the same everywhere (almost)
precise and big sound that takes its place very well in a group of excited. much more usable than any high volume JCM, less garish than a mesa boogie, cleaner than engl powerball, .... we say more: it is not enough to have sound, yet it is in a group it is heard!
after having tried lots of amps lamp alone, nickel, and then in groups, quite nasty, do not worry the Line 6 Vetta HD is way ahead.

my settings vary Trankill to something more clean but devastating.

after the blues and jazz, it lacks a lil kkchose, though ... not even on.

it may be that playing on the mesa cab.

basically, for metal, rock, no problem, it's all good!! the multiple adjustments make it a very practical tool.

    OVERALL OPINION

    Tres bien!
I hesitated between a powerball has 1500th, which lacked precision, as a misplaced hole in the EQ, and EVH III, which lacked a little big but super top parcontre was accurate.
finally, to three times cheaper to OCCAZ, my top two, the cluck and more practice.

AWARE THAT WHEN YOU TRY MATOS OF SUCH WAS THE RIGHT TO MAKE HIS SON, YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO HAVE THE SOUND OF ALL THE WORLD, YOU'RE NOT IN MacDOnalds IF?
