Getting Started
Installing an English version as an upgrade from my French Sibelius 5. The license key was not working, but U.S. support sent me a new key in less than an hour. Since 6.2 the bp would not occur, it is the same in any language installed, the settings chosen in config
Complex software, huge manual, default config OK.
Mastering Sibelius demand so much time, but the support forum (in English which is not a pb for me) responds quickly to any questions, either technical support (excellent, who knows the app on the fingertips ), or the user community (a lot of pro among them).

Installation d'une version anglaise, en upgrade de mon Sibelius 5 français. La clef de license ne marchait plus, mais le support US m'a envoyé une nouvelle clef en moins d'une heure. Depuis la 6.2 le pb ne se poserait plus, c'est la meme installation quelque soit la langue, choisie dans les paramètres de config

Maitriser Sibelius demande bcp de temps, mais le forum assistance (en anglais ce qui n'est pas un pb pour moi) répond très vite à toute question, que ce soit le support technique (excellent, qui connait le soft sur le bout des doigts), ou la communauté d'utilisateurs (pas mal de pro parmi eux).

Dell Latitude E6500 Core 2 Duo 2.5Ghz, 4Gb RAM.
Not a crash in 2 years. Only pb sometimes playback of a track with a player and 34d party external library of samples does not work anymore after modif the partition. Just save and reload the partition. Sibelius or external player? hard to say or is the cause of the pb.

Overall Opinion
I use Sibelius 5 years, expensive but very complete, very good. Nothing like a Gpro, whose sound quality and user-defined settings are limited (I gave up!). I will not hesitate to repeat the same choice
J'utilise Sibelius depuis 5 ans, cher mais très complet, très bon. Rien à voir avec un Gpro, dont la qualité sonore et les possibilités de paramètrage sont limitées (j'ai abandonné!). Je n'hésiterai pas à refaire le meme choix
