Value For Money : Excellent
I totally agree with what was said by "Cromorne" above.
It is of Chinese manufacture which mark the first glance with finishes that are approximate.
Following my critical of these finishes that do not deserve the name I could get a refund of 115 euros Thomann on the purchase price. So in the end the prize went to 770 euros.
That said acoustic sound result is quite correct and an amp with a P90 is very credible (ie a Fender "The Twin").
Roper was a trapeze (pictured) has been changed.

UTILIZATION

The handle is shaped in V, it may shock at first but got used to it very quickly. It is even comfortable enough, even with small hands.
My Loar is amplified with P90 "Dog Ear" Seymour Duncan. The micro just returned from the dam table. The strings are Thomastik flat net.
A volume and a tone control on the handle near the splice was added.
The sound is very credible. I had the opportunity to compare beef with an old Gibson ES 150 was comparable in timbre. As the new Loar sounded just a little green, but compares well maintained.
Access to acute is correct boxes to the XV and XVI. It becomes more sports from the XVII case, since there is not no cutaway.

SOUNDS

This is a correct guitar for jazz, blues. The price is relatively cheap for all solid guitar that is a good choice for a budget.

OVERALL OPINION

I use since January 2011, being essentially what prevents me to take a high end guitar, with the risks that implies.
This is a guitar is pretty nice if you do not look too closely. It sounds good, which is primarily the first thing we ask a musical instrument
I do not know the regularity of the series "The Loar" as finishes, but I think we need to resolve to admit that finishes them is Chinese.
