- The Fender Passport 500 Pro is a portable PA system that has a clear sound and worked well for all of our live applications. It is an 8 channel system that allows you to record your live performances right to a USB drive, it does record in a high quality too. This was one of the main reasons that I decided to purchase this system. I needed a way to record multiple live sessions from my live band and my DJ sets. Its recording mode records in high quality WAV format that is ready to be played back on any system. This was a huge selling point for me when deciding to get a new portable PA system. Now I can record all of my live sets and put them on CD’s for friends and family and down the road I will be selling copies.
Setting this system up was very easy, it is just like most all of the PA systems out there. You just need to make sure you take good care of it when transporting it from place to place because it does not seem to be very durable and I think one bad drop could end the life of the Passport 500.
But the Pro 500 is actually pretty light, it is lighter than the earlier model of the Passport that came out years ago. It is ideal for smaller bands or DJ’s that need to have a portable system with them at all times to play and record with.
The fact that I can just stick in my USB drive and record my live show is amazing to me. The other way I use to record out live set involved a whole different system (outside of the one we were using already as our PA). This was difficult because it was more like carrying two different systems in and out of clubs. It was a huge headache for use having to do that and having the Passport 500 now makes travel life a little easier.

- Superb sound equipment to play in bars or outdoors
It is up to 2 minutes!
Settings very simple!
The sound is nickel, very clean, no saturation.
We use it for acoustic sets and live with 2 or 3 voices, guitars and acoustic bass, electric guitar and cajon (via Vox ToneLab pedal), it works to hell and the feedback from the public are excellent
In Electric, the big stuff we RCF sound system with subwoofer, and the Fender sound is perfect for bars and private acoustic concerts, the starting light, the sound system, instruments and microphones and a few cables and you play
Perfect for small acoustic band who wants to save more performance

- I use it for 3 months.
I tried a lot of stuff to sound, but it's not true style of this stuff
Algeria and really portable (my wife has a part with May and the scores of the other:))
recording on a simple USB key!
Very simple to use
The reverberation can be used
It's not powerful at all, unless a hi-fi: (
The sound is low and without grain-free .. it is clear that a subwoofer can amliorer things
No panoramic entries. Basically it would be mono ca the same thing
My wife sings in a vocal ensemble, wanted to "hear" and register. As they are 6 there was ca. So at the time of purchase I told myself that I can sting him for the sound to the singer of my band in bars (even in crappy 500 watt, I am not jazz blues mtal) .... m'viterai and has to carry the big sound in small places. Ben will not be possible. The max volume can not sing with a drummer a little nervous I'm not sure it happens more than keeping a 100db sound without saturation!. It's really a tool to work ....
People complain a lot that do not have jack inputs Preamp is true, but just go on with possibly a XLR adapter XLR jack 9.
How do you report qualitprix?
The question is meaningless since it is an almost unique product, the quality of construction is good, It looks solid, but it is very (too) limited.
With exprience, you do again this election? ...
I suggested my wife to return home while ToTo, she said no I keep that is exactly what I need to work (sic) so it looks like it may be yes! But I will have it sent back
