The B2030P are a pair of passive studio monitors that I decided to go with once I chose to get a pair of real monitors instead of using computer speakers years ago. The main reason that I chose these monitors was after I got the chance to hear them in action at the music store. First impression was that they have a big sound and a lot of thump to them. That was the case but that was not the type of monitors that I needed to put a good mix on my music.

SOUNDS

These are 100 watt near field monitors that are magnetic shielded so you can put then right next to your monitor, in my case I had them right next to my 21 inch computer screen. The sound was clear and very rich and full. The frequency range is 75 Hz to 21 kHz, which not only looked good when I was purchasing them but it sounded even better.

OVERALL OPINION

When I purchased these I was new to mixing my own music and I only had a simple Mbox interface with these. I was happy using them because I liked how much thump and bass they had on the low end and at the time I loved the mixes that I was getting out of them. I just had them sitting on a desk with no pads underneath of them and no acoustic treatments in the room. I could not get a good mix with them at all despite the fact that they sounded good. When I would play back in a good set of headphones or a different stereo the mix would be horrible.
Now that I have a better understanding of monitors and mixing I know what to look for when choosing monitors. These monitors do add a lot of color to your sound and the response is not very flat. The bass is overdone and can damage your mix if you are not careful. These were great monitors for my first pair though and I do not regret using them because they taught me a lot.

OVERALL OPINION

Use in Satellite mdium SCLE (cuts to 200Hz via Behringer CX-2310) with subwoofers, it sounded good trs.
Too large as I got pregnant library, it must be prs places the wall, near the ears. It is therefore the "monitoring".
HiFi in use is okay. But for the price, in view of a manufacturing trs treats is Byzantium
NB: The costs a weekend, including six hours of mixing "DJ style": p

J'tais really tank on the purchase of this pair of monitoring speakers. Finally, I started telling myself "I will use in return for djing!"
Well, I sincrement t surprised! for the price they have nothing to envy other!

You will be surprised at the sound quality of this pair of speakers, the low frequencies are well doses, just enough to make music and electronic agus do not tire the ears too.

OVERALL OPINION

It is certain that this pair of speakers is not comparable with some REFERENCE but just for their report qualitprix I say: Go for it!!
