« Very good speakers »
Published on 08/30/10 at 14:03I had this little pair of speakers. Amazing! This is the last round of Rogers before the bankruptcy filing. They are equipped with the same HP Medium / Grave as the "mythical" Rogers LS2a2.Très happy with these speakers to medium unbelievable, I had the opportunity to find a pair of Rogers LS 55 (LS55). And there is happiness. The advantage is the bi-amp that changes everything. It is also equipped with the midrange / woofer Rogers LS2a2. Very good speakers for the price (250 €).
However, there is a significant difference if they are in connected in bi-amplification.
If you find the small but please LS33 LS55 are much more pleasant and efficient.
SOUNDS
Very good stereo image even if it takes a little time to position them to have the best 3D rendering.
Excellent dynamics.
A medium that my great surprise. They left behind the BW that I had before (I speak for the LS55)
OVERALL OPINION
I use them for 6 years.
After trying a dozen pair of speakers (KEF, BW, JMR), I have saved for their sound quality and small footprint
Most:
Dynamic, Medium incredible, and overall consistency. The instruments are easily separable and can be followed independently.
The least.
Aesthetics and burns a fair bit if you do not pass bi-amplification.
