Characteristics
24 in analog converters with trs good quality (no problem for the def).
I use a G4 bipro 867mghz, logic PRO7 OSX. It turns the thunder ...
One little Mackie 24/8/2 front ... is royal! The quality analog and numrique for not that expensive when you compare. Advantage, if you have multiple analog consoles, you can color the sound decision according to your tastes.
I put 8, because the use is trs SPECIFICATIONS (if you have a table numrique is not the right choice, and there are only two exits. Anyway, I mix in Logic so no prob).

Getting Started
Ultra-stable drivers: a rare plant trs (I do not say never because with the computer, never say never ...)
By recording 24 tracks simultaneously no problem (even with a good plugin gambling taking!)
Therefore used Logic7, it's all good.
RULES gnral of latency in 256, but started making a cracking 64 to 12 microphones with battery (for making rere simple, no prob. To avoid so much if we use of simultanments).

Drivers ultra stable: ça plante trèèèès rarement (je ne dis pas jamais car avec les ordi, faut jamais dire jamais...)
En enregistrant 24 pistes en simultané, pas de problème (même avec une bonne tripoté de plugin à la prise!)

Overall Opinion
I use it for 2 years. Having worked with other models previously Motu studio, I did not hsit invest in this card that matches my expectations: I have a table I like analog, so c the IDAL.
Report qualitprix exceptional OCCAZ: 600 euros on ebay, a case ... (For the 24 / 8 Mackie 1500 euros OCCAZ, do the math, the 24 tracks of this quality for that price ... I like!)
I would do without this choice hsiter.

Je l'utilise depuis 2 ans. Ayant travaillé avec d'autres modèles Motu auparavant en studio, je n'ai pas hésité à investir dans cette carte qui correspond à mes attentes: j'ai une table analogique que j'aime, donc c l'idéal.
Rapport qualité/prix exceptionnel d'occaz: 600 euros sur ebay, une affaire... (on trouve la 24/8 de mackie à 1500 euros d'occaz; faites le calcul, du 24 pistes de cette qualité pour ce prix... j'aime!)
Je referais ce choix sans hésiter.
