Overall Opinion
I chose this model bongo for a first quality instrument properly before starting an internship in my neighborhood. I had to meet my budget then (around 100/115 euros). In this perspective it is a relatively good choice for a serious beginner. However I have heard for models whose sound is softer, particularly the series of Meinl above (but closer to 200 euros). It is therefore a matter of priority and ambition for me if I'm progressing well I'll watch a better instrument in particular at the velvety skin. That said the wooden structure is well made and perfect aesthetics!
J'ai choisi ce modèle de bongo pour avoir un premier instrument de qualité correcte avant de commencer un stage dans mon quartier. Je devais respecter mon budget d'alors (autour de 100/115 euro). Dans cette perspective c'est un choix relativement satisfaisant pour un débutant sérieux. Cependant j'ai entendu depuis des modèles dont la sonorité est plus douce, notamment la série de Meinl au-dessus (mais on s'approche de 200 euro). C'est donc une question de priorité et d'ambition, pour ma part si je progresse bien je regarderai un instrument meilleur notamment au niveau du velouté des peaux. Ceci dit la structure en bois est de bonne facture et l'esthétique parfaite!
