Getting Started
Not too much problem.
The use Standalone is a huge advantage over all the VST plugins that may exist. It can play live with just one application running, no need to Cubase, Audition or other soft greedy and long load.
The only difficulty in the RSID SETTING THE sound card to find the right compromise between latency and sound quality.

L'utilisation en Standalone est un enorme avantage par rapport à tous les plugins VST qu peuvent exister. Ca permet de jouer en live avec juste une application qui tourne, pas besoin de Cubase, Audition ou autre soft gourmand et long à charger.
La seule difficulté réside dans le réglage de la carte son pour trouver le bon compromis entre latence et qualité du son.

Suitability/Performance
The PC is not a big problem as there is a minimum of RAM (512MB). The sound card intgre the motherboard is prohibited. Treat yourself to an ASIO card, there is the affordable, and the gain is standard (near-zero latency)
Le PC n'est pas un gros problème tant qu'il y a un minimum de RAM (512Mo). La carte son intégrée à la carte mère est à proscrire. Offrez-vous une carte ASIO, il y en a des abordables, et le gain est énorme (latence quasiment nulle)
Overall Opinion
I no longer use that has since I've Discoveries! The guitar plugs directly into the PC (via a pramp-bypass and the sound is simply stunning: a real guitar sound with fat saturation and progressive of the big clean almost saturated. The sound of Queen is falling! My amp hardware begins to rust ...
Je n'utilise plus que ça depuis que je l'ai découvert! La guitare est branchée directement dans le PC (via un préamp-bypassé) et le son est tout simplement bluffant: un vrai son de guitare avec des saturations grasses et progressives du presque clean au gros saturé. Le son à la Queen est à tomber! Mon ampli hardware commence à rouiller...
