What I like most about it is the quality of the instruments , the multiple articulation , the different specter of sound , the distance between the instrument itself , this product has a lot of features which it gets a top place in the digital orchestration world. What I also like about it is the fast library of instruments , some instrum...
The Classic EZX is an expansion sample library for Toontrack EZ Drummer and can also be used with SD2. This EZX actually appears as two separate EZX libraries inside of EZ Drummer because it comes with two different mic setups. First, all the drums were recorded with the typical mic setup with close mics on every drum and also OH and Room mics...
New York Studio Vol. 2 SDX is an expansion library for Superior Drummer 2 from Toontrack. It cannot be used without first owning the main SD2 software. The drum samples come from two recording sessions: Allaire Studio and Hit Factory. Each recording session used different drums and cymbals. And there are many choices available with this pack. ...
Installing the Foundry SDX was not that quick though; for some reason all of these drum samples take a long time to load into the computer. But it was well worth the wait because now we have every single drum sound that we need to have for our style of music. I really like all of the grooves are very good and the fills too, you can play...
This is the cleanest, unprocessed, natural sounding drum library available. So many other libraries include basic eq/compression, or the samples or were deliberately recorded to tape prior to digitization. The raw samples in this library are definitely perceived as 'raw'. I own the other SDX libraries from Toontrack, and even a few EZX librari...
You can use it on a Mac computer and a PC, you will need to use ASIO drivers if applicable though because if you don’t have a system that can handle a lot of CPU then you might be sunk. Once you get into using Electri6ity and adding some effects it can start to eat up your CPU. This is an affordable plug in and a great buy!
The thing I like most about this collection is the reuse-ability of the sounds, and how well they can fit in to so many different styles of music. They're just as effective in post-rock as they are in minimal techno, and they sound great at any end of the spectrum. I love the fact that it doesn't feel like you just bought 1,000 copies of the sam...
Overall I'd give it 2.5/5 stars. It's cool to have around and I do occasionally pull sounds from it, but it's kind of specialized in it's focus. Some of the hits are really cool, but nothing stands out. I would recommend it for someone looking for a little crunchy flavor in their mixes, with cash to spare. It's only 14 bucks. I'm satisfied with ...
I would give this 4/5 stars overall. It is a SUPER deal at 16 bucks, the sounds are great, but not stunning. If your into the genre, get this, because you will use it a lot. I have no regrets about buying it and I love that it actually is appropriate to the genre advertised! I have no complaints about this, it's a fine product.
What I love most about this instrument set is the French Horns. They are hands down the best sounding instrument in this collection. They are extremely warm and smooth (just like the real thing) and with all the various patches and tweaks, you can really pull of a very convincing sound. I also really enjoy the Cimbasso. It adds that lower ba...
