Anyone who loves tracking will love this prog. I have been tracking for about 8 years on an Amiga and was put off modern computer music making by the complexity of doing things in an hour that would take me five minutes in a tracker. Renoise got me back making music with the modern sound quality that PCs and advancements like VST offers with the...
since 2004 and this is my favorite musical creation software!
It is with this game that I discovered the mao, and frankly at the time of its release something similar "pro" pc is extremely expensive, because it is a true workstation console. The only thing missing, in my opinion (but that's not the fault of the developers) is that since it runs on playstation there is no connection. If I cou...
It's just excellent. I've tried Fruity Loops several times Fruity Loops, but I never found the simplicity and usability of Renoise, with a stability also exemplary. The possibilities are the same, with some mastery, the other soft supposedly more "professional", with each new version, and significant improvements that make this app...
Frankly, when you master this software, you wonder what's the point of Cubase, Logic etc. .... In 1990, when I was a kid, I remember the time I spent to have fun with ProTracker Amiga 500, the ancestor of the trackers. Since the acquisition of a pc, I fell into the trap of cubase etc ... with making mouths quantize, latency, ASIO drivers...
I'm still in the discovery phase but I took a good slap. j'adoooore. 50 euros is a gift. I was thinking of buying Cubase 4, I'm going to work Renoise. (When you think that Steinberg has not been screwed to an upgrade to Cubase 4 customers who have 20 years of repaying the entire soft ... it is not in the same world at all...
I use it for 10 years, and I am always surprised by the possibilities. The fact that the software is fully controllable from the keyboard makes it really nice to handle. The major weakness of this software is that it runs under DOS. However, there is a perfect clone (schismtracker) that runs on Linux and Windows. Second negative point, t...
I possde for 8 years. I Discoveries by chance, so I said why not? and it's just good! It is perfect my music (shuffled from house, dance, instruments and video games ...) but remains strong even when limited in perf. and it is not evolutive! if you mastered a piece, two choices: the multitrack, or the PC! but the app is mostly intuitive, trs, on...
I use buzz for some time, I did not try much before, I use impulse tracker coupled Submitted which I find much easier to use.
