I just acquired this guitar.

the look is nice, beautiful color on blue background.
the shaft is oiled and not varnished, and the playability is very good, I played on a long lag Arkaan (excellent) but ultimately it is this type of strat handle suits me better ... it's still an appreciation very personal
the floyd is very good - original floyd at this price ...
the pickups are good, a bit simple for my taste weaklings. it may be better to change the neck pickup (this is what I have). Compared with an EMG HZ s3 I not seen a marked difference. chipotte but I just, I come from a Arkaan very very well equipped in this regard .. and then I decided to sell my Arkaan and keep this one ...
the sound is very good, he y 'character, it's great solo, harmonics, rhythmic punchy (hard rock), etc. ... very good ...
Funk side we found it was a great turn-strat ... I tried the config Fender Stratocaster fitted with double ... not bad, but nothing to do with this Charvel ... this alternative was always able to send big sound ...

the guitar is so light and polyalente, I recommend you ...

UTILIZATION

as I said, the neck is oiled and not varnished, it is very good. it is a start type neck, after having tried other types of games (including Lag Arkane) is this config which suits me better.
Ergonomics is very good, good grip, light guitar, good finish, without access to the acute problem, it's nice solo as rhythmic funk rock Hardos ... I'm much more comfortable over (I would see to use the 24 th fret if I miss ...)

SOUNDS

the sound is very good, lots of character. the volume knob is very good, we can put on a channel saturax to death and play a clean sound so crunchy ... go until the saturation silhoutette as we love ...
you can pass in single coil for a little more vintage (it's not my cup of tea ... but it does quite well)
I regret that washables not split, I think I like the customization CH6 Jackson, a micro switch on / off and then split single or double.
the neck pickup will be replaced by a double for sure to find a conf MSM like ... I would put my Arkaan probably Perly gate (and fabulous particularly split).

alune the guitar is well made, it means ... it is a good strat.

OVERALL OPINION

I just got the guitar compared to a lag Arkaan 200 AS heavily modified micro level I think I'll keep the Charvel. It suits me better for several reasons:
1 - look: nice guitar, light, beautiful color and so on.
2 - handle: the handle superb oiled
3 - Sound: I really like the bridge pickup - mons that the draft can be TB6 (to see what happens in the metal ...) but I probably would change ELECTRONICS
4 - very good volume control
5 - the guitar sounds good in different styles of jazz, rock, funk, hard rock (if you're a fan of Maiden, or hears of ... adrian ...)

I recommend: New around 800 euros (with an original floyd, a good violin and microphones of good quality is already a good plan: it reminds me of the excellent value at lag on Chinese models 500 ST)
