« Nice and meaty tone »
Published on 12/16/11 at 13:45The Fender Stratocaster is a iconic instrument that is really stood the test of time. There hasn't but then much evolution of the instrument but certainly there has been some modifications to the original instrument. You've seen these guitars feature hardtail bridges or hunbucker pickups installed or a variation of different types of pick ups in the instrument. But overall the body has virtually never changed. This is a great sounding instrument and probably one of the most versatile instruments that you could ever on our play.

SOUNDS
The tone of the Fender Stratocaster is a very unique tone that has a sound that is fantastic for pretty much any style of music that you play. This is the kind of guitar that you would grab if you only have one choice in the world to own one guitar. This would probably be the guitar you would grab because it has such a great tone and extremely versatile usable voicing that blends well with pretty much any style of music. Whether you're playing it with a high gain amplifier such as a Marshall or a Bogner amplifier or you're playing with a clean amplifier such as a Fender or a Vox amplifier you're going to get a great sound and a great tone night after night of playing.
OVERALL OPINION
These guitars come in right around $1499 or so. It's a great price for an American built solid sounding instrument . The color of this guitar is great as well and overall this is just fantastic guitar for any player whether they're learning how to play the electric guitar or have been playing for dozens of years. This is a great guitar for anyone recording and doing a lot of live playing as well. Whatever application you put this instrument and it's going to do quite well for you.
