Characteristics
I have recently been a G & L Tribute 500. Made in Korea in Cort, according to specifications rigorous, ash body, sunburst, 22 frets, tremolo G & L Dual Fulcrum (not very stable if you tickle too), 3 single coil pickups G & L Magnetic Field in High Level output terminals separately adjustable in height (made by G & L USA and wound by hand), hyper flexible strat overall it's a great guitar!
Je possède depuis peu une G&L Tribute 500. Fabriquée en Corée chez COrt, selon un cahier des charges très rigoureux, corps en frène, sunburst, 22 cases, vibrato G&L Dual Fulcrum (pas très stable si on le titille de trop), 3 micros simple bobinage G&L Magnetic Field à haut niveau de sortie, plots séparés règlables en hauteur (fabriqués par G&L aux USA et bobinés à la main), strat hyper polyvalente, globalement c'est une excellente guitare !
Utilization
The handle is ds mind Fender, round curve but is well in hand, the finishes are beautiful, you could easily spend a lot of his hendrixien medium in a mellow jazzy neck pickup, it can also sound way to telecaster desplittant microphones.
Le manche est ds l'esprit Fender, galbe rond mais qui tient bien en mains, les finitions sont superbes, on peut facilement passer d'un son hendrixien plein de medium à un velouté jazzy en micro manche, elle peut aussi sonner façon telecaster en desplittant les micros.
Sounds
Played on a marshall AVT 150 is a medium full-on approach similar to that of Hendrix. If you are looking for a Start "slamming" is not the best ... but if versatility appeals to you while keeping the big sound, it will be fine.

Jouée sur un marshall AVT 150, on approche le son medium plein proche de celui de Hendrix. Si vous cherchez le son Strat "claquant", ce n'est pas la meilleure ...mais si la polyvalence vous attire tout en gardant le gros son, elle fera parfaitement l'affaire.
Je la joue sur un répetoire rock/jazzy et c'est sa capacité à s'adapter à divers répeetoires qui me séduit le plus.

Overall Opinion
A good investment, which is largely a U.S. Start, and buries the Mexican or Japanese products without worry.
It's a little known brand, do not forget that Leo Fender and George Fullerton are in control and that quality comes first.
Strengths: versatility of sounds, violin and neat finish

Un bel investissement, qui vaut largement une strat US, et qui enterre les productions mexicaines ou japonaises sans soucis.
C'est une marque très méconnue, ne pas oubliez que Leo Fender et George Fullerton sont aux commandes et que c'est la qualité qui prime.
