I purchased this guitar from Musicians Friend for $530. List price is $750. I got it because it was a good all around guitar.

I love the finish, I got mine in vintage sunburst. The flamed top is very apealing to the eye. The fingerbord inlays also look cool. A "V" with a UFO looking object behind it. The thing just looks awesome. The Duncian Desinged humbucking pickups produce a loud and distorted and warm, clean tones, making the guitar very versatile. The switch and pots are very high quality. I can hear no crackeling when using them. The neck is slim and very fast, not like a some of the strats I've played. The fact that the neck is set gives it good sustain. The cream binding goes around the body, neck, and headstock looks very nice. Nice and light, good for the back.

Not mutch. The only thing I can say is that Les Paul players may find the neck a bit slimmer then what there use to, and the body is a bit lighter then a Les Paul.

Very solid. The grover tuners have no sliping or catching, and the pickups are very high quality. I've found a couple of cosmetic flaws. But nothing that you can see with out being nitpickey. I wouldn't worry about it falling apart any time soon.

For $530, it was one heck of a deal. It has all the features of a guitar that would cost twice as much. To put it in one line, I chose this over a Les Paul.
