I got it at my local music store for about 300 dollars with a spiffy gig bag and all.

This is in my opinion the best guitar at its price. Im not rolling in the cash yet so musicians in independent bands (such as myself) often find themselves strapped for cash and thus losing quality. This guitars dual duncan design humbuckers (hum-hum) crank. With the right amp (im pushing a crate glx 65)you have the potential to sound huge. The 25 and a half inch neck scale lets me downtune (a must in heavy rock)safely without worrying about me bending my neck.It has the right amount of action,so that means there are NO buzzing frets or "hot spots" on the fretboard. Perfect.

Nothing at all. This is my primary guitar. I use it to record, gig, whatever. This piece of sonic excellence shouldnt be used by beginners though. Get some expreience then upgrade. Besides that Its awesome.

Visually appeeling (i have mine in "gothic" black finsh)and sonically unmatched. It looks good, plays well, sounds great, and thats all that matters.

The fact of the matter is this guitsr is the best deal for its price. There is none better that i have played on. I can maybe compare it so some of the high end epiphones or some of the nicer esp's but at a fraction of the cost. Bueatiful finish to complement the instrument. its a best buy at 699 and i got it for 299.
