I have long hesitated before buying this headset, since I spent a lot of time on forums and Audiofanzine opinion and the opinions shared étaint more than (just as usual on Behringer products).

Then I skipped the step I had for € 30, postage included.

First: the headphone is far from linear, it's true. I do not have a particularly fine ear, but I am very sensitive to low, that I tire very quickly. And here it is clear that the bass and low mids are exaggerated, perhaps it is due to the closed configuration of the headphone, but the sound seems a little sad, dark. If this sounds a composition HPS3000, in my opinion, it will sound anywhere! But this problem is quickly resolved as the drivers for my sound card included a very correct EQ which makes it more neutral. Finally, the exterior insulation-> headset (contrary to what I expected given the earlier opinions) not as good as the isolation headphones-> out (which seems very correct ...)

The general appearance rather inspire confidence, much more than what one would have to € 30, but it is not the foot still; cable short but well made and gold plated connector jack.

But do not be deceived: for € 30, we have here a headphone that hold a crisp, clean, and - once equalized - rather neutral. It clear that he does not compare to the AKG and other Sony mid-range (100 to € 200), but there is a good entry-level headphone, and it is a boon to home-in -broke-studio owners I have come to swell the ranks recently.

Update of 16/11/2004: yours, mine is dead. Too bad I liked him ... Sure with a life so limited, this may seem small price to pay. I took away a point, even.
