I pretty much love everything there is about the fender telecaster guitar. It has a great look a great feel and superb tone. The body shape is one of the most iconic guitar shapes that the world has ever known. The tone is a very fender tone but completely different than the Fender Stratocaster town. It has a shimmery or more cleaner tone and its own unique sustain. Overall it is a very cool sounding and looking guitar.

SOUNDS

The tone of the fender telecaster is quite exceptional tone. It has a unique sustain that feels better than the Fender Stratocaster. It features two single coil pickups which gives you a good clean shiny tone if you mix it with a clean amplifier. I love the way this guitar sounds when mixed with a good overdrive pedal into clean in. Couple that with a decent sounding delay pedal and you have a mix for a right rock guitar tone.

Overall this is an amazing sounding guitar and is a great guitar for gigging and recording. I suggest swapping out the pick ups because I never like the sound of offender pick up. Fender makes amazing sounding guitars and very versatile sounding guitars but there pickups are just plain lousy. I would swap these out for whatever pick up you prefer to most. The alnico ones are a bit better than their Texas pickups but I would still swap these out anyways.

OVERALL OPINION

I highly recommend this guitar to anyone he wants that particular fender telecaster town. It is very unique and different from a Gibson Les Paul or a Fender Stratocaster. At new you can find these guitars for right around $1000. That is an exceptional price for an American guitar that sounds amazing and feels exceptional. I highly recommend every guitarist to own a Fender telecaster of some sort because it has such a great and unique tone that is different from any other guitar shape out there.
