- What technical specifications motivated your choice?
Playing guitar on a laptop, the sound card of origin is what is the worst in the world.
- For what purpose?
Amateur guitarist for 15 years (so a small forcment requirement, but is not pro)
- What is your config (motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard ,...)?
Acer Aspire T135-T97Z - AMD Sempron 3100 + 1.8 GHz - 1.4 GB Ram-DD 1O0 GB for Vista
- Which instruments or Systmes (console, prampli, DTD ...) you use it and how connections? ...
Jack MonsterCable blind in between guitar, headphone output.

UTILIZATION

- Installation is it without problem?
Big probmes installation because the driver provided does not work with Vista. Vista recognizes the card and then takes to find a driver "gnrique" which s'avre not work.
I test with another machine running XP and yes, works without a problem.

- Have you experienced any incompatibility?
Vista - and as Berhinger does not offer on its site Vista driver ...

- The manual is clear and sufficient? ...

The manual states "The drivers installed by Vista are adapted our product", which is a lie so easy that even disassemble the press service of the White House would do the not allowed.

GETTING STARTED

- The drivers are stable? Are they often put day?

Berhinger is the minimum service, which for the price of its product can fully understand. No Shift of drivers on the site, and as the driver by about Vista is inadequate too bad ...

- What software do you use most often?

Guitar combo that comes with. When we arrive to install the card it works nickel.

- What you get lag?
12 ms - was no consensus.

- How many tracks you get record / playback simultanment? ...

2 - on guitar combo,

OVERALL OPINION

- How long have you use it?
24 hours

- What is the particular feature you like best and least?

The more they stay nice and cheap. The least? Wait, we did not talk about her!

DSOL break the rve for some, but al case of low-end product or prize. Some buyers will show lyric on the forums, but then the vrit people. For a little more expensive, there is incomparably better.

Take Guitar Combo, for example.
The user of a clean sound with some effects, too much treble (Behringer Guitar Link UCG102 is not friends with the treble) hear a little breath of anything, and may be have fun with.
He who wants to attempt a revival p'tit AC / DC may however much his Dranger ENT sifflottent that his eardrums. The breath of this card is over-amplified by the effects of distortion, giving your exact pain in CRNE in 5 minutes chrono.

- Have you tried many other models before acqurir?

Guitar Combo I test on a desktop PC Audiophile 2496 PCI sound card. The Difference? it's a bit to spend three days in November the Hotel du Havre dernire Chance (window on docks), then fly to Tahiti. No breath possibility of pushing back all the virtual knobs, recording clear as crystal. FYI the Audiophile 2496 score 100 euros, but you need a good desktop PC.

A default, the Echo Indigo I / O PCMCIA laptop seems more reliable

- With the exprience, you do again this choice? ...
Between the non-compatibility with Vista and the breath of the machines who want to her, was a liability for a little clumsy UCG102. Liabilities that it seems to share with other USB cards. This technology is really suitable for team sound cards? A walk around the forums, you can ask.
