The Vienna Symphonic Library announces the release of Vienna Instruments PRO 2, an update of their proprietary software sample player, tailor-made for all Vienna Instruments Collections.
New features include the APP sequencer, auto humanization, enveloped time stretching, automatic cell naming, enabling/disabling of cells and an option to adjust the sample preload buffer size.
The original Vienna Instruments player is included with any Vienna Instruments Collection as free software. The optional Vienna Instruments PRO was first released in August 2010.
Tools
The new version Vienna Instruments PRO 2 comes with a new internal Auto-Playback and Pattern Sequencer that triggers rhythmic patterns, arpeggios, runs and orchestrated arrangements in real-time, synced to the host tempo.
Existing features have been extended. Auto humanization automatically assigns appropriate performance accuracy settings to all loaded articulations; enveloped time stretching allows users to determine, which part of an articulation they want to manipulate. With “enabling cells”, specific articulations can be loaded with a double-click; “disabling cells” clears samples from RAM, while keeping all patch settings intact. With automatic cell naming, loaded articulations can be identified. Vienna Instruments PRO 2 also benefits from the speed of Solid State Drives with the option to reduce the sample preload buffer size, allowing users to load 10 times more samples into their RAM, 10 times faster.

Introductory Offer
Registered users of Vienna Instruments PRO may download the new version from the Vienna Symphonic Library website, free of charge. New users may purchase Vienna Instruments PRO 2 at an introductory price of EUR 125 through December 15, 2011. As an option to downloading, customers may order a USB flash drive for an additional charge.
