The manual is clear and sufficient? : Yes, apart from some translation errors (notably regarding the CD and LINE inputs. I want to tell you that LINE = CD and vice versa, unlike what is stated in the manual in French.
Common functions are they easily accessible? : Of course.

The equalizer is effective? Yes even that sometimes I find it too effective.
