UTILIZATION

Easy to play for me handle. I am especially electric and I have small hands but still muscular for the left (I'm right handed).
It is perfect. Rather flat handle and not too late to leave room for the fingers. Access to acute fairly easy.
Setting the correct factory. For now, I have changed nothing.
Action quite low and can be further lowered.
Elixir 12-53 I dropped a semitone, as long as my hand gets used to the pressure of the strings without nab tendonitis. And it sounds serious!
I just tightened somewhat mechanical because I found it désaccordait too fast when I triturais too. Since nickel.

SOUNDS

The acoustic sound is TOP. I play strumming, picking or flat picking. In strumming and flat picking, this is a killer. The projection is huge compared to his little sisters 312, 314, 324. Yes it sounds very bright (the Elixir strings are also something) but the bass is very present and accurate. In short, a treat. You can type in, abuse bass, treble bender, she says.
324 has a warmer sound, but I found it less beautiful.
I just used the Electro party. Just did a test of 2 hours with light chorus and reverb via Guitar Rig 5 are sent in a PA system. RAS but nothing to do with a Takamine preamp, for example, which is made to play electro. I think the good walkthrough is to mix the raw sound dubbed by a microphone with the sound of the preamp decorated two or three discrete effects.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had a month and I'm on whenever I have a moment with me. I spent a lot of time in the store (thank you Pierre Azema home for your patience) to test different models: MARTIN D18, D28 MARTIN MARTIN D35, D45 GIBSON GIBSON J200; Taylor 214,312,324,314 and 414. The sound of the Martin D28, warmer, but I liked a lot trouble with the handle. Ditto for Gibson, his very distinctive and handle for lumberjack. Each time I returned to the Taylor 414. After I must admit that the 324 has me more in terms of sound and heat.
But look, the projection, quality solid wood and good quality / price made the difference.
