The compactness, robustness, and very favorable reviews in the specialist press for sound.

In use, I'm not disappointed at all, the volume is comfortable and precision and largely up to my use.

Auf, it hurts to realize the answer soon ... 10 years!

I tried and I retained Diva16 I occasionally used NS10.

I really like the "armored" and precise both side.

I would first prciser I do not what possde MODEL monitoring. Personally, I have some old Celestion that work wonderfully in spite of their great age (20 years easy).
on the other hand, l or I can give my opinion, from my exprience as a service technician at SCV AUDIO (Genelec importer in France). I was fortunate to have a lot of MODELS in the hands and especially to the ears even if an electronic workshop is frankly not the place to rev MUCH prcise.

Indeed, and as a dj prcis someone before me, the 1029 lacks bass, but then cruelly.
Paralllement, the volume that you can DGIG not always live up to what one would expect from monitor speakers.

Personally, I rather see the 1029 as multimedia speakers (we buy with a PC) improving.
Those who really want to sound turning instead to the 1030 sincrement more respectable.

I fell for the brand to rename their mouths and their frequency response very precise, it is clear the spectrum is not abusing it sounds like it is drawn but the double edge is cut in net income to 70Hz

Huge dynamic really accurate, the kicks have plenty of fishing, but not serious so the box is essential.
The stereo is good provided they are well placed must adjust their height if it pourrave.
Their answer is faithful ... 7050 with the box! is misleading without my mix was full of bass that I heard no I had to juggle multiple system to be fair she did so for naught.
BUT WITH BOX burst up SERIOUS !!!!!

Perfect small chamber used in lots of situations: mobile studio, control, radio broadcasting, video editing, audio and of course, etc.
A bit too sharp for my taste, but very clear.

Great with a subwoofer.

Excellent for mounting a 5.1 system not too expensive and top quality!


OVERALL OPINION

Compact, efficient, lightweight (only 6kg/pc, even if they seem very solid when the door for the first time ...), and XLR jack handy, good sound.
Really a nice compromise for the home studio. All for a price almost ridiculous (and it is still of Genelec).
