Winter NAMM 2012 News
I bought this wonderfull machine when I was eightteen. The quality of transport, the quality of sound, everything was great and I regret to sell this wonderfull Device since...
What I love most about this unit is it is quite small and light compared to my MPD 24. I can put this in my laptop case with my MBP and still have room to spare. It also is much better when you are traveling (car/plane) to have this smaller unit as space becomes scarce. I also actually like the way you select presets. It is done by holding d...
I've used this pedal for about 5 years and I've never had a problem with it really. I sometimes wish that I could do a bit more with it, but that would mean getting something much more expensive and generally unnecessary for me personally. I like how simple it is, which makes it easy to change settings on the go. That being said, programming pre...
I have used several drum machines, even the upgraded version of this MPC 2000 and they are all cool. But this 2000 is the original classic machine. They have all sprung off of the creation of this one. This machine provides that dirty drum because of its sample right. I just love the MPC 2000 so much and im sure you will too. I don’t think they ...
It's been a while and overall I think this a sampler / sequencer exceptional, especially with the composition by ear I think it's really huge! It is a blow to take if you do not know but after the madness MPC is a real breath of fresh air. Do not think that only the hip hop with this kind of gear, I may as well electro and jungle, break ...
I really love the MPC 100 because it was my first but I think I might be upgrading soon. Everything just seems so hard to do on a little screen, that makes it very hard. But for the price you really cant beat it. You get a MPC (legendary machine) for a low price and can still do almost everything the others can. But It.
Overall, great machine especially if you are into hip hop you can really bang out your beats with the mpc 4000. Its built to last and looks great as well as sounds amazing. It definitely gives you that gritty 90’s feel of music when you create with it. I recommend getting this and loading up your own drums, stay away from the stock kits.
The akai mpc 500 comes with some pretty good stock sounds, nothing I would throw away but nothing I would use for all of my production. The sounds are good but please do consider getting your sound by purchasing them or creating them yourself. The A/D converters are not bad I would suggest getting a third party sampler such as a Sp303,akas950 or...
This is a great unit especially for those who want a modern aged akai mpc. It's quality has some great onboard features. The pads (depending on which verion you get) suck and break down really fast. There is a pad upgrade kit you can buy on ebay though that fixes the issue. The failing pads are normally on the Blue Mpc 1000 the Bl...
I honestly thing this controller could have been $100.00 cheaper but it's still a good price at $400.00. My only disenchanting moment with this controller is the pads... they are not sensitive enough and will require you to get a pad upgrade. There are a lot of DIY kits out there ranging from $14-$25.00, well worth the money in my opinion....
