Winter NAMM 2012 News
The Event Electronics Precision 8 are perfect for the home studio owner looking for a great set of monitors without the price tag, but they won't compare to the top tier monitors available. They aren't making these any longer but they were in production for a while and there should be a lot of them floating around there on the used market. The...
I've been using the Event Electronics 20/20 studio monitors for about a year and a have found them to be a nice set of studio monitors at an extremely low price. It doesn't get much cheaper than these, and I would even say that they are some of the best monitors you can buy for the price because of the nice response to frequencies all across the...
Plug n play- simple as that. Perfect for small to mid-sized project studios. $800 bucks is alot to spend on home studio monitors- so Event gives ya a 3 year warranty on these guys. Very pleased with the monitors and Event tech and sales staff. Originally posted on FutureProducers.com Posted by: Unknow...
Seems very sturdy and tough though I dont plan on gigging with it, its gonna stay home as the center of my lil bedroom studio. I only had it for about 2 weeks and I luv it. No other product gives you so much for so little. I highly recommend it as a standalone mixer or audio interface. Originally posted on FutureProduce...
Yes I love them. They are my first pair of pro-type studio monitors and have improved my mixes tremendously. They can shake the house alone without a sub, as well as give you the sweet little naunces that are so hard to hear in other speakers, such as smaller studio monitors or your bookshelf stereo speakers. I've heard the Mackies, Behringer Th...
Very easy to use. Plug in and listen. It took me a while to setup the volume control on the speakers properly so that if the volume on my computer was turned up full blast the speakers would not kill my ears. They are studio monitors, so handle with care. No problems or repairs ever. They are speakers not women after al...
Simple to hook up with appropriate wires. Construction is adequate. I don't move them often because they are heavy. Compared to an amp and the 10" Bose speakers, I love the Events. Originally posted on FutureProducers.com Posted by: Unknown ( 6-, 2002)
Plug and play for the monitor speaker genre. no gigs , straight home studio production. Im very happy with the performance and the price. The watts could have been a little better though. Originally posted on FutureProducers.com Posted by: Unknown (January 1-, 2003)
Plug and go Very good quality. But I had one problem: the day i bought the pair, I tweaked some of the back-controls and two of them bent and got stuck inside the box I had to open it and bend the control back.... They should put physical knobs there, not just electronic components that are open to the outside. Love th...
I use these speakers recently, but they have radically changed my life in small mixer Sunday! Finally I had before with the HS50 HS10 sub so I always made both extremes! But I've heard a lot of speakers (HS50, HS80, RP5 VXT8, KH120 (very good by the way), BM5A etc.) and I can tell you that apart from Adam MP1, I have not heard anything b...
